The food at Eliane is delicious. I have eaten a variety of dishes here but the best so far have been some of the buffe type dishes at the front of the restaurant: the Vietnamese brocolli and grape salad and the roasted fioretto being my absolute favourites.
It can get quite busy so the atmosphere can get quite noisy and you can feel quite squashed in if it's full but it doesn't detract from the quality of the food or service.

Visited for the first time today, food was ok nothing special, environment was clean large place.
Staff not welcoming just chatted amoungst them.selves did not check in after serving food, which was a shame as I needed more butter for.my toast.
Missing that customer touch and very weird music being played in the back ground.
I would try again just to see if it was a different experiance from today.

Found by accident. So nice to have some organic food, all GF and a lot of plant-based options. Only criticism was the service for making 2 espressos was a bit slow and a jug of water for the table would have been nice.

DELICIOUS!!! One of the best meals I have had in so long. I had the beautiful, fresh, and colorful lunch from the front, and my friend ordered the steak sandwich - which was honestly one of the best sandwiches we've ever eaten. Service was great and the atmosphere exactly what you want on a sunny day. Some reviews mention it's expensive, but having been to a number of places in the area, eliane is no more expensive than those (costa coffees are more expensive than eliane!!). Only here, you seem get exactly what you pay for and that is high quality food and service. I shall be back as soon as I can!

We've been here before and had a fairly decent experience, which is why we came back today. The food is rather expensive and the portions are of what I would consider a medium size. There are a couple of nice vegan options, which is lovely.
Today, however, when I went to order, I had a most surreal experience. I stood in the queue like everyone else, and when I got to the front, the woman operating the checkout leaned around me to take the order of the man behind me. He ordered (I believe) two flat whites and there was some difficulty with paying while I checked that I was still visible. After he left, I stepped forward again to place my order only for her to lean around me again to take the order of the third person in the queue. When that person had ordered and everyone in the queue apart from me had been served, she turned around and started wiping down surfaces and shuffling cups around. It was only when another member of staff clocked my puzzled expression and asked if I had been served that my mind was put to rest and I was reassured that this wasn't some kind of out-of-body experience.
I don't know if I've done anything to upset you, in which case I am very sorry and hope I can make it up for you in some way, but I have to say that it was one of the stranger experiences I've had in cafes and did rather taint my experience of the otherwise very tasty food.

For just over £20 for a breakfast and a coffee you would expect something special. Sadly it was not. It was ok but just two sausages at that price is less than I would expect. You would expect at least a couple of rashers of bacon maybe some black pudding. What was served was nice but lacking for the price.

A wonderful spot in Hungerford for breakfast. We had the avo on toast with poached eggs and salmon. Just lovely!! Can?t wait to return.
