It was not the best Sunday roast I had. Portions were tiny, and I had to ask for more gravy ( which I got ). Yorkshire pudding was the worst I ever had. I am not going back to eat there again!

I have been coming here for 20 years booked a table for 14 people people on Saturday 17th September, started of OK got our meals asked. If was all OK and to be fair it was, after that nothing no would anyone like more drinks, coffee or deserts next we knew we were being thrown out, didn't even know it was last orders, just spoken to manageress (Emma) didn't seem interested said she would speak to the waiter back to the black boy next year top service.

Great food,lovely chilled atmosphere and great prices. Did I mention the gorgeous view of the river or the extremely helpful and friendly staff? Thoroughly recommend.

I've driven past many times & wasn't inclined to visit, due to the location on a busy crossroads & somehow the sign gives an underwealming impression. My friend had thought the same, but we were so wrong! I found it when looking for pubs in the area, close to dog walks & only realised it was the same place on approach.
The staff were attentive & pointed out the doggy station, including water, blankets & a range of biscuits. The back patio area is lovely & overlooks the river Loddon. My friend even saw a kingfisher. There was a good range of options on the menu & our order arrived quickly. I had the short rib, which was melt in the mouth delicious. We had a lovely time & enjoyed our walk by the river too.
We will definitely be back.
