The takeaway we ordered was cold,tasteless and really wish we had not bothered. Used to use this regularly as live across the road.
Never tasted such awful food. Will not be using again.

We ordered our food using the online service, gave ourself extra time as we anticipated a busy night. We waited 1.5 hours and then tried to call. After too many calls I got through, to be told they aren't doing our order and hung up. I tried to ask about a refund but got cut off, called back over 10 times and eventually got through, samw thing again. They didn't ask who I was or about my order just said they aren't making it and hung up. We drove to the restaurant to find over 15 people in the small wait area, crammed in all experiencing the same as me. One woman put her order through around 2pm and was not getting any answers.
I appreciate it's New Years and fully anticipated we would have a delay, but the service we received, or in fact didn't, was a complete disappointment.
I'm yet to know if my money has been refunded and if not will have to sort this tomorrow. Such a shame.
We drove down to Shenai who apologised profusely, advising they are partner companies and gave us priority service with excellent tasting food. We're lucky to have got our food at 21:30 and I feel awful for those left at Kabirs just being ignored, left without their food and out of pocket.
After 5 years of ordering from Kabirs, we will now look elsewhere to order our Indian food, to avoid future disappointment.

Unfortunately I could not rate the food as I did not get that far, placed an order on the website, got no confirmation e-mail stood in shop for 20 mins before the only person working finally asked me for my name, order was lost along with other frustrated customers. No apology no offer to make the order. Wasted an hour and gave up and went to spice raja in the end.

Went with a group of 11. Inc one celiac and Veggie. 3 had starters and most had several drinks plus main course. Worked out just over £30 per head. Pleasant friendly staff who looked after us well. Would definitely use again/ recommend. Parking can be hit or miss but that's not their fault.

We've moved to Crowthorne and this was our first experience, with a takeaway and boy was it good.
Popadums were fresh, lime pickle clearly homemade.
Lamb biryani was soft and fragrant vegetable curry was tasty.
Lamb shaslik was superb, right amount of spice on the meat, meat was soft and the grilled vegetables were beautiful.
Thank you we will be in for dinner soon.

Booked a table for 12 to celebrate 2 birthdays, arrived on time only to find they had over / doubled booked, not impressed, had to have a takeaway instead with the usual delay waiting for the delivery. Food, when it arrived was OK, but nothing special. Overall very disappointing evening especially as 1 of those birthdays was mine. ?

What a pleasure to be back while I'm in town!Great food, lively & very friendly service that makes the whole experience a delight. The retro decor and ambience takes you back in time... simple but functional.Veg paratha, prawn puri & paneer tikka were delicious.See you again soon.
