We stayed for one night mid week. (July 2025) Very quiet and peaceful location, so no road noise, perfect! Booked the Angus suite, which was good, but just a bit dark in there, perfect for one night, but would want more light if staying more. Lovely quaint pub in the countryside. Barely any phone signal but who needs it when you have decent food and drink on tap! Good amount of parking and they have a small play area and a bouncy castle for the kids to play on.
The bull is situated in the stunning Royal Berkshire village of Stanford Dingley & has been lovingly renovated keeping many of its 15th century features by its private owners. Stunning Gardens with over an Acre of outside space including a Beautifull Paddock, large covered terrace, sofa area & Outside ‘Horse-Box Bar’ … the main pub has fabulous dining areas & a large, separate bar & tap room with sofas, Chesterfield Chairs & open wood burning fires just perfect for Pre/post Dinner drinks, long overdue catch ups… or relaxing with a book… makes us perfect for all occasions & weather
