Desperately in need of some serious updates, and investment.
Ground floor room we were initially given smelled horrifically of damp. Our request to move was accepted with no charge, and the new room on the second floor didn't smell. However, the door handle was broken to the bathroom, there was no soap, drains were blocked, room was very hot and not particularly clean.
Everything about the experience with the rooms was pretty tragic and deserves 1 star.
Staff were fine and the location is what it is.
Would never return to a Travelodge after that, and couldn't recommend it to anyone.

I'd had a fairly long drive from the Isle of Wight to the Travelodge in Bracknell Central for work. The receptionist, I think he might also be the manager, was so welcoming. Hey and the staff couldn't do enough for me. The place was lovely and clean. Had a really nice atmosphere. He offered me a free coffee as I was too early to check in and gave me complimentary Wi-Fi package.

No hairdryer in the room - that was a shock! A lot of trades guys stay here and car park is full of their huge vans. Car park was full. Comfy bed. Food was fine. Rooms are very warm with inadequate ventilation due to safety window locks. It?s a long walk into town if you want to eat elsewhere. It?s ok for an overnight stay, it is a budget hotel and provides a decent service for the price.

Low budget hotel.
Room was unbearably hot however an extra fan was provided. General room cleanliness was poor.
Lifts were dirty.
No soap in soap despenser.
Breakfast was average but staff were attentive.
Overall not a pleasant place to stay.

Key cards didn?t work a single time without them needing to get changed, preventing access via the main door, entrance to the lifts, and rooms. Sometimes they?d work for the lift access, only for them to fail at your room door. Totally pointless, stay somewhere else if you can.

As basic as it can get. It felt like staying in a school dormitory with very basic facilities.
Even WiFi was an optional extra.
We stayed in the middle of the summer and it was baking hot. We left the window open to let the air out but then a mosquito came in and irritated the earth out of us and got stung. No fridge, no air conditioning, no safe.
Breakfast was also very basic, low quality stuff.
Don't stay here unless you really don't have any other choice.

do not use this Travelodge if you don't like hot hotel rooms and no air conditioning, we cooked over the weekend, and the small fan provided did not cut it

Used Travel lodge many times before the pandemic. This is the first time since, expecting a big update but didn't seem to happen as there is no air-conditioning in the rooms. We also paid for an upgrade and if you call a coffee machine and two kitkats an upgrade! Also the size of the room is more like a standard room and at this time of year very hot Also on arrival there was only one coat hanger which was not enough as there was two of us as we staying for five nights. We were very disappointed and would consider not using Tavel Lodge again.

Is what it is budget chain hotel, reception staff ok, but one I got was not the chatting kind. Room cool and clean despite large stain on the carpet.
Location noisy due to main road.

Rooms unbearably hot and stuffy. Window locks mean you can't open windows to ventilate. Would not recommend staying here in the summer.
