Menus were dirty, asked for some horseradish sauce and I'm still waiting, beef was swimming in blood as hadn't been adequately rested, the roast potatoes were more like boiled potatoes, not even close to being roasted, far too much chicken and not enough beef for the roasts, pigs in blankets looked anemic, lumpy custard,... read full comment

Called in for a pint on 7th Aug, and was well impressed with the upgrade to this pub/restaurant. Very courteous service at the bar. The food looked great, so going over this week for a meal. Watch this space for an update.
