The River Island in Lexicon Bracknell is the nearest for me to go, or the other one would be in Windsor but the ladies section is a bit small.I just wanted to give a review, as I?ve noticed a lot of faulty attitudes of staff towards customers in the Bracknell branch. This review doesn?t even deserve to be given a star. Not sure why River Island employ those kind of people. No basic manner or whatsoever. Every time I come inside the shop, all staff are standing in a circle chatting, giving a very bad first impression. It was only a couple of times I had to pay for few items, and I really hated those times I interacted with the staff, as the girl who served me and the other staff next to her in the till were not even pretending to smile. And the way they talk to customers too is unbelievably obnoxious, which it makes their overall attitude to customers very unprofessional. We all got to the point we didn?t like our jobs, but I just want to say that at least TRY to smile even if it?s a fake one, cos that?s literally the basic requirement of customer service. It?s so noticeable how DISGUSTING and RUDENESS is written in their faces. I miss the old staff they used to have who were friendlier than these people who don?t care at all about their customers. Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND to visit the River Island Bracknell branch. Avoid it if you can, as it will only RUIN your shopping experience in The Lexicon. I hope River Island has seen these negative reviews already, it seems like they?re still receiving more due to these graceless staff.

On the 12/03/2023 I went to this shop at Luxicon, the customer service was just awful! The young lady approached me and my daughter at 17:50 and reminded the shop was going to close in 2 minutes and I I just said on and she repeated ?2 MINUTES!!? Very rude way and she shouted some colleague upstairs to come down and shut the doors. I left the shop very upset. I returned 5 minutes late, same girl and another one were near the door, waiting till 18:00 to close, I entered the shop and asked to speak to the manager, she told me that there was no manager at the time. I mentioned she was rude and I hasn?t happy with that, then both girls became rudely argumentative, a guy came downstairs and also was very rude towards me, didn?t even know what was going on, he seemed to try to intimidate me . All 3 are probably under the age of 20, all in a rush to shut the doors and go home. Horrible service. I called River Island today and spoke to Jasmin, she presented herself as the manager? she just apologised and well? I will NEVER go back to this shop in Bracknell, the worst experience ever!!!!!

I was today to buy a present and the girl at the till didn?t even say hello. customer service is awful! The staff in the till looks miserable and a bit rude. They shouldnt be working there as a customer service, because they dont fit the title. It was my favourite place and I got a lot of Christmas present and dress myself from there but from today is the last time I go there. ?????

Horrible customer service!! Specially one lady from the staff was so rude to my friend today 10/03/23who just asked her question about the sale . Not professional at all . The company must teach you how to talk to your customers before hiring you!!

They had only regular size suit today and not many colours i.e choice - long for me, also wanted Navy colour, wish they had small size and colour then I could have bought it!
