HP free ink trial is harmful to the planet and misleading customers.
Offered a free ink trial with my new HP printer. I?ve ended the trial and I?ve been told all the spare print cartridges won?t work and need to be sent to landfill. Not environmentally or customer friendly HP!

Bought for my business, an HP Z2 G9 Miniworkstation (sn: 8CN5100355) with 5-year Active Next Day Business Onsite on 25 April 2025 and installed it on 12 May 2025. On 30 May 2025 it failed. Though it turned on it will not connect to the new monitor (this is now connected to a laptop and is working just fine). It took 25 minutes to get to the point where I was able to speak to an agent. Though very polite her solution was to clear and reinstall the operating system. I know from experience that this will not necessarily fix the issue ? it has never done so in the past, and it could well happen again. I was told that I would be sent a USB stick to enable me to do this. As the files would be lost on the pc I should go to ??? to get them to copy the hard drive for me. All this is unacceptable; I expect a new pc to work without issue, or it is not fit for purpose. HP need to replace it and convince me why I should have another one rather than getting the £1,902.43 back. The Active Care Next Business Day Onsite is anything but 'Active'. Poor quality hardware and terrible customer service.

Having worked for them (briefly) 14 years+ ago they didn't remove my data, as per GDPR rules. They then got hacked and my personal data, DOB, NI, Address etc is now on the dark web for criminals to buy and try and steal my identity/get credit in my name.
What was worse is this happened June 2024 and they only opted to tell me in March 2025 meaning my credit was vulnerable for 9 months before I could put any mitigation steps in place.
They have offered a subscription for 1 year with a credit reference agent, but I know most banks and credit cards use them and 2 others, and 1 year isn't enough. I have expressed how stressful this has been for me, someone who is fastidious when it comes to data protection, even composting letters with my name and address on.
They seem to care little about the fact they have broken GDPR rules nor the fact they had been lapsed enough to allow hackers into their systems.
I'm waiting on the ICO to respond and getting no where with compensation.
If you worked for them, check they have removed your data.
If you buy from them, imagine if this is how they treat ex employees what will they do with your data? Is it safe? I certainly wouldn't trust it.
Hewlett Packard dissociate themselves from HPE (Or HP CDS) saying they're a different legal entity and nothing to do with them. I'd argue they're part of the same brand and if they're allowed to break GDPR rules then you have to give some cadence of association where the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

A company that only exists on the back of efforts of many employees who, from the 1950s, laid the solid foundations from which today's rewards are reaped. Those same employees are treated with utter contempt by current management who have chosen not to keep pensions in-line with inflation over the past 30 years. Zero morality, zero ethics and zero empathy. An utter disgrace.

Company have lost my data in a cyber attack 9 months ago but only told me yesterday; since then their emails are bouncing, their website is down and all they have offered is an apology. I left their employment over 11 years ago GDPR rules say they shouldn't be holding that information about me and who is now going to pay for my Credit Report Watch/Alerts? There is no phone number to reach them, only a US telephone number or AI bot that doesn't take you anywhere without a serial number. They were bad when I worked for them clearly it's worse a decade on.

Placed an order on 19th August and still not received it today 27th August. No email from HP to explain why it has not been delivered. I had to call them today and they offered no reason why my order was not here. They say it is arriving today. I will update this review if it does not arrive today.

I bought a new HP pagewide Enterprise Colour 586 printer from HP at over £1700 direct from HP. One set of ink cartridges later and albeit 4 years the printer heads fail. They wanted £553.20 for a repair plus suggested new ink cartridges at £163.99 x 4, roughly £1209 for a repair. I pointed out a Brother MFC L8690cdw brand new is £411 inc delivery +VAT. Ink is £45 per cartridge. Same equivalent printer. I asked them to reconsider the price. They never got back to me. Goodluck - (you're going to need it) and Goodbye HP ! Stuck in the past. Many better printer options out there with cheaper ink re-supply these days. Very poor customer service. Buyer beware.

Nice facilities. Plenty of parking space all around the building. The inside is basic. Not Google Inc, really. If you move to work there, try to get a desk near the windows so you can have some daylight.
