It was my first time today (29/01/25) visiting this local corner shop in easthampstead to me I was scared I'm never visiting again they've lost my custom the cashier man on the till is so rude unhappy miserable no need to be like that we've all got problems stuff on our minds whole world on our shoulders we can still be nice friendly helpful and polite can't find nothing in there anyway datent ask the staff prefer easthampstead Co op and the shops are better that's also my local shopping center il shop in there in future .

As of January 2025, their PayPoint service has been unavailable for 6 months, despite "someone coming out to fix it tomorrow".
PayPoint tell me the store has had it removed. Not very convenient

I come today and politely asked for some water one of the staff members (old lady ) was very rude!!! Staff is not friendly at all and not helpful definitely zero customer service not recommend at all ,staff constantly smoking at the front of the shop

It used to be lovely and the staff were friendly until about the end of 2023. But now it?s all gone downhill. They don?t give or offer receipts to any of the customers. They advertise membership prices but when you take it to the till the co op card gets declined when swiped. They just ignore this and make you pay. Because of this I have ended up paying full price. Couple of weeks ago I asked for the receipt to see how much money I have in the co op card and the balance showed zero despite me swiping my card every time I shopped there (I shop almost every morning after school run). My trust has gone and I?m so disappointed. Won?t be shopping there anymore unless I really have to. Manager need to take immediate action and offer receipts to all customers (fact - you are the only company who doesn?t give receipts). I thought it is a legal requirement to provide receipts to all customers. Also the customer should be able to swipe co op card to collect rewards and take benefit of the membership offers.

The staff are very friendly but you can never get the deals and the shop is always empty. This is not good at all being a convenience store. The pay point hasn't been working for over four weeks now. Yesterday came home from work as I've been there from 6am and got back to Easthampstead at 5pm the store was closed with no notice to say why. My son told me it hadn't even open but where was the notice to say what reason was the store closed. I rang another co op and they said they had no idea why the shop was closed. Being a convenience store this is very bad for your business.

Most of the days I came here in the morning there is no bread, the store open early and having no bread ? for all the customers, it's not too nice.

Every time I go to this coop I?m unsatisfied due to having to wait for second till to open you clearly have staff whether chatting on shop floor or having fag break. The cashier system has been a joke for over a year. Do you not have system in please to avoid loss of earnings for your business

Not very impressed with this store and the services the store is supposed to provide. The post office was not open at 2.30 In the afternoon 3 days before Christmas,I needed cash for Christmas so I thought I would use the ATM no chance it wasn't dispensing any cash I reported to the person behind till..he said I could have told you that, so I asked him could I have cash back he said I couldn't..I will not be using this store again..

Awful shop! Rude staff! Many items not on shelves, shop is dirty! Staff always out the front smoking cigarettes when they should be cleaning the shop, stacking shelves, attending to the long queue of customers. Staff on phones behind the tills. Im surprised they dont have rats in the shop to be honest. Would give it no stars but unfortunately cannot ? They need new staff and a new manager asap most run down co-op I've ever been in!Parking is a nightmare. I'd rather spend my money somewhere else.

The member of staff in this shop called Danielle dropped a carton of milk?What split and went all over my sons Clothes and trainers. And just laughed like it was a joke. She did not even say sorry to him. So this shop is the Worst co-op I have ever been in. It is dirty not very unclean and the staff are really rude
