Great hotel, food ok but could have been better. Only moan was that our room was right above the nightclub bit so when we had had enough we could still hear it and struggled to go to sleep!

Was OK clean tidy, having some update fire alarms. Pool was cold and jacuzzi. Sauna out of order but steam room was hot. Small gym. Could be better. Interesting place

We had a wonderful stay with our family, very spacious. I would suggest possibly adding a safer lock to the door leading to the balcony as it is not so child safe. A huge thank you to Elysia in the restaurant for being so welcoming and informative. Also including the children and making our overall experience very good. She also informed us of the best/ quietest times to come down for breakfast which was very helpful as we have a son with ASD who struggles with new and busy environments.
Rooms: The family room was very spacious. Giving the children one area with a TV and us an area just to the side with our own space and TV. Lovely clean bathroom with some mini bottles of toiletries.
Nearby activities: We came to visit lego land so didn't travel around much but found the petrol station opposite helpful when we needed some quick supplies.
Safety: I have suggested a more secure lock on the balcony door as we have a child with additional needs that would climb if out there. So just needed to watch extra carefully.
Walkability: N/a
Food and drinks: We enjoyed our food in the evening and some good options for children.
Breakfast buffet was a hit for all. A very well cooked breakfast and plenty of options for the children too.
Noteworthy details: Incredible fish tanks, enjoyable pool time to break up our evening before dinner. Comfy, clean and spacious room.

Lovely looking building. Plenty of free parking at front and rear, with cctv. Standard double room was large with a desk to work from. Nice bathroom with a pleasant large walk in shower. The gym is small with limited equipment and sauna was out of order. A quaint fitness centre, pool, steam room abd jacuzzi, though not worth £45 a month for non hotel guest membership. Breakfast buffet was the same everyday. Bacon, sausages, hash browns, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, mushrooms, beans, white or brown bread, toaster, tea, coffee, juices, canned fruits (no fresh fruits). All basic and bland. I paid for breakfast though went to Wetherspoons instead. It is a lovely hotel at a very good rate. Love the fish tanks on every floor. Shame about the idiot employee who left the hotel every night at 10.30pm and raced around the rear car park in his crappy car with an immensely loud stupid exhaust. This woke many guests. Complete tw@7. Give it a go and decide for yourself

Been staying here for work. Very enjoyable stay staff are great some of the rooms are massive if slightly dated with the furniture. But would highly recommend

Very pleasant afternoon tea and staff. However downstairs mens toilets were terrible. Cubicles were all soiled and highly unpleasant. Obviously no cleaning schedule in place

Went to the club. Bad qualigy drinks bouncers aggressive. Really quite rough.

I came here for an ABBA tribute band evening with the local disability charity I belong to, which was amazing, and the food in the restaurant was excellent as was the service, but what gets the hotel two stars from me is that when I went swimming before supper, I found the jacuzzi to be stone cold. That needs to be fixed, for jacuzzis are supposed to be warm.
