Had an exceptionally enjoyable evening meal here with a couple of friends. The food was beautifully presented and very tasty. If we'd been thinking about it we would have taken photos, so we might just have to go back... ?

We were swayed to go here by previous reviews, but still not convinced it would be amazing Thai food for a place in the middle of a small town. We were pleasantly surprised and thoroughly impressed by the quality of food, Penang curry and Tom Yum were delicious. Great and friendly service from the staff. Full halal menu as well, which served us well. Wouldn't hesitate to visit again the future when passing through the area!

My recent visit to Blue Orchid Thai Restaurant was exceptional. The inviting ambiance and friendly staff set the stage for a delightful meal. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, with just the right balance of spices. Service was prompt and attentive, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable.

This is a hidden gem of a Thai restaurant. It's so good, I've been twice within the space of a month! Highly recommend the Pad Thai with chicken .. add squeeze lemon juice on top for an extra zing. Also, the Yellow Curry, plus the Rice Noodles with Lamb are delicious. ? They accept Tastecard, but you?ll need to book ahead first. Check the app or website for the latest requirements. I'll be going back again!!
Parking: Limited parking spaces next to the restaurant. It fits about 6-8 cars, I think ?. There may be free street parking.

The best restaurant in the area. Food and service always impeccable. We celebrated my son?s 18th birthday at the weekend. The staff made the occasion really special. Thank you as always for great food and great service ?

Completely disappointing - booked Sunday lunch in the garden, arrived and garden closed as they said it was too cold, strange as 24 degrees with no wind. Som tom weak and watery, despite asking for it spicy. Asked before I ordered whether they cooked with Thai basil, as per the menu, and was assured they did, but arrived with Italian basil so tasted awful. If you like authentic Thai, there are much better places so would not recommend at all.

We opted for a set menu during our visit, which showcased a variety of dishes, all of which were above average in taste and presentation. The standout for me was the papaya salad?crisp, fresh, and bursting with flavor; truly great, despite my tardy photo that didn't do it justice as we had already begun to indulge.
The atmosphere at Blue Orchid enhances the dining experience further, contributing to an enjoyable evening out. The ambiance is vibrant and well-suited for both casual dinners and special occasions.
Overall, the food was good across the board with some real highlights like the papaya salad. For those who appreciate Thai cuisine, Blue Orchid Restaurant offers a culinary experience that's well worth exploring.

Couldn't believe my eyes seeing the beautiful pagoda. Must go and try again. Booking the most desired seats is essential.
