Hard to find, staff not helpful in any way. Room okay, small bathroom and the bath is joke, 3 inches of water max

The hotel was in a poor condition, rooms and hallways very very shabby. There were loads of people milling around the hotel which felt very uncomfortable. The beds were clean but paintwork damaged, chips in the walls, dirty windows. Id never stay in a Travelodge again.

Fab easy place to get to when on oir travels. Very clean, the staff we had were incredibly friendly and helpful. The local shops had everything we needed. Have been before and will go back again when needed.

Hotel is fine for a quick stop on your journey.
Room was spacious for family of 4. Was very warm, no A/C. Had a fan but very dusty.
Was very cheap, and free parking so fine for night.

I spent the night here, prior to picking a client up from Heathrow. Arrived at about 2300 and attended the reception. The receptionist was lovely, explained everything and helped with the car registration entry system, gave me the keys and pointed me to an annex across the car park. I entered the building with a key fob and into my room, which was on the ground floor by means of a normal key.
The room was very nice, clean and tidy which is a credit to the maid. I am not sure whether I was allocated a disabled room but the bathroom had many handles and bars affixed to the walls, drop down assistance bar at the side of the toilet and two emergency pull cords. I can't see every room having that amount of assistance features. As an able bodied person they were a bit inconvenient but not enough to complain about.
The bed was very comfortable and a nice feature is the plug sockets with both USB and USC sockets on them. Coffee, tea and a kettle provided but unfortunately for my sweet tooth, no biscuits. Small TV, chair and a mirror finished the room with a small but perfunctory clothes hanging wardrobe with extra blanket next to the window. I stay in this type of room quite often and it was certainly in the top 5% in quality.
There were just a couple of marks knocked off for sloppy building work, which really shouldn't have been allowed to be left. There was an electrical wire to the bathroom light just left hanging with no clips to secure it.
The new pull cords looked like they had been chiseled into the ceiling and were left unfinished, the bord at the side of the sink was not fitted well and left a gap, which although not a massive problem, a professional trades person decided that was acceptable which its not. Only small points but it let's an otherwise excellent room down.
Yes I would stay again and those faults/snags wouldn't affect that.

Decent hotel, tucked away off the M1 but with Greggs, Costa etc on the doorstep. Great staff, comfy bed and free parking. No air con so a bit warm in the summer, but was a decent price for my stay
