Food was nice, if not a bit cool. Felt like the staff forgot about you after serving. Had to flag someone down after being offered a desert ( never followed though with an order ) just for the bill

Food was ok. I had seafood linguine which was ok, my partner had the chilli, which was poor. Some type of bottled guacamole and cheap nachos. Worst of all was the service. Having had our food delivered to us in the garden, the waiter pretty much told us to go get our own cutlery from inside... Very poor and rude

Overnight stop in Campervan...Food was lovely...The parking is just ok flat but needs tidying..we had EHU...Free if you have a meal there...No shade ..

Lunch menu was not offered to us but was found on bar after we ordered from main menu at lunch time. As we only wanted small meal we were disappointed that the choice was so expensive. When queried, We were told we were not to be offered lunch menu. We could have had two courses for less than we paid for one course. Very disappointed.

Food was much better than expected. With a good selection. A vegan in the party enjoyed their dish too. Relaxed atmosphere, and the bar staff were on the ball. I will be going back.

Pros : Food looks and tastes great, nice premises. Friendly staff. Very reasonable prices.
Cons : table was a bit sticky and cutlery could have been a bit cleaner. Table service could have been a little better.
A nice country pub and I would revisit.

Ordered a pint of bitter shandy, got a pint of doom bar bitter instead. Took it back to the. Bar where it was exchanged for a shandy, this time with flat watery lemonade. Pleased to say third time lucky.
Ordered one Linguine ( which was ok ) and one lamb burger, burger served on a small piece of wood! Not ideal at all.
Ordered deserts, after asking twice for the menu, and waited 30 minutes for them to appear, ( restaurant not at all busy) then decided we were not prepared to wait any longer so paid for what we had eaten and left. Didn?t even get an apology for the poor service.
Certainly won?t be going there again and will not recommend it to friends.

We booked to stay for the night in our motorhome on our way from Dover to up North. Keiran kept in touch via email from first booking to our arrival. The food was great, good selection of beers & ciders, staff were all very pleasant. Lovely large beer garden with plenty of tables, and even a model railway. Ideal car park at back with motorhome parking after a meal and few drinks in the pub. We really enjoyed our stay here and will certainly return next time we are in the area.

Had a table booked here for 6pm on a Saturday. Was really looking forward to a lovely birthday meal with my family. Wasn?t busy, service was so slow. Starters were mediocre. Didn?t have what we initially wanted. My poor 8 year old son ordered ham egg and chips. Worst, driest piece of gammon I?ve ever seen.
My husband and I both ordered ribeye steak medium rare. Presentation was awful and the steaks were burnt and dry and well done. They didn?t even resemble pieces of steak. I have never sent a meal back before and my husband wouldn?t have done if I didn?t say something - sustenance first. But it was inedible. They were taken off the bill and we were offered something on the house but I was put off enough. If you want quantity over quality then this is the place for you but I like my food to be edible.
