Friendly, spacious, great atmosphere and good range of drinks. Loved the children's play area and live music. We didn't eat, but the food we saw being served looked more than decent.

I popped in after I had a walk in the local countryside. The weather was lovely so I say outside and I enjoyed a lunch time wrap with chips. I felt it was good value and would go back, next time I'll try and get some food photos!!

Lunchtime on a Monday. Very slow service and long wait for food. Then the wrong order arrived. Lovely character pub; the conservatory and garden were well maintained, and I imagine that in the evenings and weekends it's a popular place. Hopefully it is staffed better at those times because I think an hour wait for a couple of wraps is not acceptable.

This pub is neatly tucked away in the countryside and has a lovely outdoor area. The food was good and had options for gluten free and vegan. We called about a half hour before turning up on a Saturday afternoon and didn?t need a booking. We were able to bring our dog and the pub managed to accommodate, finding us a table tucked out the way. The service however was quite slow. After ordering the main, we requested dessert and seemed to be waiting ages before being told they were out of vegan ice cream. Despite this, I?d still go back.

Needed a steak so found this pub/restaurant that served food all day and it was delicious came with large chips, on the vine tomatoes and mushrooms it went down a treat with a medium glass of shiraz

My partner and I had our wedding reception in the barn outside the pub, and it was fantastic! Louise was so easy to work with and was consistently organised, which made planning seamless and stress-free. The wedding packages are also very flexible, right down to choosing what food you want. Leading up to our event, Louise was excellent at coordinating the set up of the room, whilst also ensuring that everything was how we envisioned. During our event, the bar staff, servers, and kitchen staff were all so accommodating, polite, and efficient. The whole evening ran so smoothly and us and our guests had a fantastic time! I fully recommend The White Horse if you're looking for a venue that's oozing with character, has great staff and management, has delicious food and drinks, and will ensure you have a night you'll look back on fondly forever ??

I had a lovely Birthday Sunday Lunch with my
Family. Food was great, I had a special Birthday pudding that wasn?t organised but they noticed I was unwrapping some gifts so went the extra mile to make it special.
I was also very impressed with how dog friendly they are, my old dog received a personal bowl of water for his cosy corner.

Had the most fabulous food and evening here with our friends for their leaving dinner before returning to Dubai. The staff were so amazing and even did a special dessert treat for us. Will definitely be returning

Drinks pretty expensive but that's maybe because it's a posh pub. A glass of Prosecco & a J2O was £13. Had booked for a Sunday lunch but waited 45mins for food as other non booked people were getting to order & have food before us which I don't think was fair. Roast was lovely but the lamb didn't have any taste maybe because it was fresh English lamb! The price of the food was actually OK.
Parking: Not that much parking for such a popular pub

We arrived early and only a few customers were around, still the wait was 45 mins for 2 Sunday roasts and a kids menu. Unclear what happened, if the order was sent to another table or just forgotten. The waitress who took the order didn?t apologise, however another waiter kindly did although it was nothing to do with him.
I waved at the two waitresses several times, and every time they totally ignored me. One went to sip on a Coke, oblivious of the fact customers might need something.
Food was okay. Dessert (apple cobbler) was too sweet and covered in caramel. You couldn?t even taste the apples. The rim of the tart case was partly broken and there was custard coming out of the pot - very little attention to detail, considering they class themselves as gastro pub.
I ordered a cappuccino with my dessert which never arrived and as my waves were ignored I didn?t even bother to remind them.
Table next to ours had their food sent back as the roast was bone cold.
Was told the bill was going to be brought to the table, after a while I walked up to the till as I really wanted to get out of there. I was ignored by the waiters again until finally someone sorted my bill - cappuccino was not included at least! I wonder if they are even able to take orders properly! All front staff seemed rather lost.
Manager was cleaning the tables. When I went to the till, I could see lots of staff?s classes (including the Coke from above) near the clean classes (for customers). This doesn?t give any reassurance of hygiene. Dirty kitchen towels left in sight with other paperwork and a laptop.
Not impressed in the slightest!
