The staff were friendly and polite. Good food, plenty of it. I've never been there for a meal before. Next time I'm up north, I would definitely call again for a meal.

What an amazing roast dinner today.
Food was delicious and presented well.
Lots of veg and meat , waitress was lovely, and service quick.
Best Sunday roast in ages!
The only downfall was the entry it feels unwelcoming, and the person serving behind the bar wasn't exactly welcoming or helpful as to where we had to sit.. on her behalf she was busy serving drinks and on her own front of house

Occasionally stop for a beer or 2 when passing by, always a friendly welcome.Definitely worth a visit.

Friendly, warm, inviting welcomes when you arrive at the Thornton Arms, under new management for the past 18 months, thriving business full of friendly locals, nice pool table to past time away lovely beer on tap with local bitters weekend menu which is lovely for a lazy sunday pub roast dinner before a breath taking stroll along the lovely Cambridgeshire country side.
