Enjoyed the range of brownies which were tasty if just a bit high priced, and although there was only outdoor seating and no indoor seating area the drinks were still all served in high quality mugs and teapots etc and not take away cups ?

We have visited this cafe many times. Set in lovely, sheltered surroundings in Ampthill Park and good food. Quick, friendly, polite service. Ample seating and toilets nearby. Dog friendly.

Had a very tasty hot chocolate, and the dogs got a free dog biscuit. Beautifully located coffee shop.

A little oasis in Ampthill Park near the children's play area.No indoor seating since COVID, but plenty outside front and back + a few tables under cover at the end where you collect your drinks after ordering + a recent addition of a sail type shade opposite. Only had coffee and cakes recently but all lovely, a nice treat after a good walk around the beautiful park.

Go to spot for coffee and a bacon baguette on a cold day, or ice cream and fizzy drinks on a hot one. Always busy; but always possible to take the weight off your boots on a walk around the area. Not essential to take a dog, but lots of people do. Best not to feed them.Outdoor seats, but coats and hats beat any rain.Parking: The car park is shared by the whole park, and it?s always rammed. Why drive anyway? 99% of the lazy people parked here live within 3 miles and could and should have walked but want to show off how clean their new company status-mobile is. Ignore them. Walk to the park, please.

Cracking little coffee shop and cafe in the grounds of Ampthill Great Park. Lovely sausage baguette and a latte for £8-30, touch on the pricey side but really good so not a complaint. Great staff doing a good job.

Nice spot for a cuppa break when out for a walk. Coffee is good. Seating is provided, but you won't want to sit for long as you sit on crates covered in coffee bean sacks. ?

This was an amazing visit - the best scrambled egg on toast I have ever tasted. Latte was good & pot of tea excellent. Superb service .

Would give 0 stars if I couldWent to street food fair which was excellent.Really lovely evening and atmosphere.Spoilt only by the surly staff of the coffee lodge finding that they had no business and shooing people away from their tables.Listen here ... if you want to get any business on an evening like this you need to do the following(1) Attitude of your staff is shocking ... They are also walking round tables whilst vaping ... this is unacceptable(2) If you want to compete on evenings like this you need to bring in a guest chef to cook something amazing and offer a challenge to what else is in offer. You can thank me later

Very rude man working there last night in chefs uniform. I saw that there was a gig on and wasn?t used to seeing the cafe open at this time so decided to stop for a coffee. It seemed like a lovely evening. I went to the hutch and I called the bell for service, when I tried to order the man starts shouting at me that it?s a private function and I would need to wait an hour. Then he tried to order me to sit at at a table so he could serve me there. He was clearly ill mannered and unrefined. This was no way to speak to members of the public and was upsetting to me.

Amazing find. Have a delicious breakfast and walk it off around the grounds with the dog
