Sue Ryder on marsh road has been a fantastic environment to shop. I love the shop and the staff are great. I get bargain in store of course.

You can find some really lovely stuff here but what puts me off is the staff and the state of the clothes. A lot of the staff are very rude and/or completely ignore you and never smile. The absolute STENCH of some of the clothes is horrendous. You'd think they'd at least throw away or clean some of the stinky clothes that they receive from donations but they absolutely don't. I've found multiple clothes that smell like BO so strongly I'm surprised they'd even put it in store on the racks. It's very messy on the shelves at the back and it just feels gross. My mom found a gigantic spider coming out of the toys or a shoe that she bought one time and the staff laughed it off. This place definitely needs to get in gear and clean this place up. I have been to a different Sue Ryder before and it was beautiful and clean. This place needs to AIM for beautiful and clean.

As a charity I would have thought you would be grateful for all donations, especially brand new items. I just walked out of the shop, in disgust, never to return either to donate of purchase goods. The man at the till, will certainly be giving your charity a bad name, and his customer service was appealing both to myself and my wife and another customer who was making a donation.

A wonderful shop full of great items for upcycling. Good collection of furnitures and lighting. A superb place to find unique items.The shop is always presentable and organised. There is no musty old smells in there, which is always a plus!The staff are very welcoming and always helpful.Definitely worth popping down to have a look around. Quite a large shop with lots of items to browse through. Staffed by excellent, helpful volunteers who are often able to knock the price down a bit for you. I have had some outstanding deals in here, especially on furniture and hats. They often have some good books in, too. I get here as often as I can to have a look at what they have in.
