I visited the Subway on George Street in Luton on the evening of December 8th, 2024, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The staff member serving me, an Indian gentleman, was extremely rude and unwelcoming. It felt like he didn?t want anyone coming in, as he was uninterested in providing any kind of polite service. There was no proper greeting, and his responses were short and dismissive.
It?s sad because I?ve had positive experiences at other locations, but this one was just awful. Customer service was non-existent, and the overall atmosphere felt very uncomfortable. I would highly suggest they work on improving their staff?s attitude, as a friendly, professional approach can make all the difference in creating a positive experience for customers.
Won?t be returning to this location anytime soon.

Pathetic customer service, staff doesn't want to interact and doesn't want to listen that what customer exactly wants. They takes the order and makes rudely, like giving us in free orvdoing any kind of favour. I am a regular customer of subway , having my lunch during my break. But george street subway not good at all. No recommendations to go there . If someone wants to be insulted than its fine...Not expected from such a fame company.. need to improvement in staff there.

I used Uber eats for a salad and what got delivered was shocking! 1/4 full box paid for double meat didn't get it. If I worked there I'd be embarrassed to send such poor quality out to customers and half missing ingredients.

I eat Subway on a regular basis. Its been a while since I visited this store. The bread they served me is not fresh They definitely baked it the day before. Also the sandwich artist said they are not doing the peri peri seasoning anymore Which I had last week in another subway store. Everytime I request them to pack my footlong as two 6 inches which is easy for me to eat. When I requested the man He declined saying here in this store we don?t pack that way (Probably he must be lazy). Sounded very rude. I have been to a lot of subway restaurants never experienced anything like this. The store is in a great location it will be great if they work on food standards and customer service.

Took 40 minutes nearly to make a 6 inch sub. Says that they do birthday free sub but they don?t. Takes ages to order

Got a couple of cookies from here, hit or miss with the freshness. Oddly, the first time was in the morning and it was stale and the second time it was really fresh, last thing at night.
Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options but the issue is the constant cross-contamination

I don't leave a zero cause there is no option. I order vía just eat and the delivery never arrived. I understand that's not the fault of the restaurant, but when I called the person that picked up the phone not only dismissed me and try to hang up on me, he was very rude. Zero customer service, zero help or manners. Will never order anything to this restaurant again.
