Great experience from sales to fitting. Team know their stuff and found the whole experience very professional. Shads the sale person was very professional and explored all the angles to ensure all was 100%. Note there is lead time with fitting and price was very fair. Don't bother with cheaper alternatives. The end result was excellent. Would recommend.

Avoid them! Very friendly staff who would offer you help with anything so you make a purchase.Bought expensive leather sofa set, and got persuade to insure it. Though right, it's expensive and we have two dogs. Since the seller asure us of help in future if needed, and that insurance will cover even dog damage we spend over thousand to insure it with them. 4 months after sofa got split at stitch! We called insurance they, in overall they refused to help. Went back to store, and the lovely seller was not even close to be friendly anymore, not mentioning of even willing to help.Bunch of liers! Be careful whenever you buy there and read all paperwork carefully!Hope you enjoyed your sale provision! Never again!

Very rude staff ..the woman was very pushy and wanted to make a sale. When we said we just looking and this the 1st shop...she said 'well I can't help you, if your not going to buy from us' ...She just wanted us to take something away straight away...The customer service is just horrible....Quick advice- if you made a purchase and your not happy..if they don't help you at the store..call head office straight away and lodge your complaint!

Good selection of furniture. Helpful staff. Did try to call the Luton branch to tell them that the sofa,s l liked wouldn,t fit in my living room but the voice recording didn,t allow me that option, which was disappointing.

Appalling customer service! If you're in a rush for furniture (like we were after moving), do NOT buy from SCS! We were told the furniture would be delivered in 2 weeks which is the sole reason we went ahead with the order...delivery took over 7 weeks! Minimal effort was made by the Store Manager (Abz) to help us and I had to chase for updates. He was all smiles and false promises when we placed the order in store, but came across as very rude and abrupt when the furniture was delayed. He gave me false information about the delivery to pacify me and unnecessarily delayed the process of loan furniture which would have been a huge help for us whilst we had to wait. I will never be returning to SCS again! Avoid SCS altogether if you can, but at a minimum, definitely avoid this store!

Really bad experienceAll customers should be really careful when purchasing from this store.The manager offers you deals and makes promises but it is a deception in the endI bought few things from ScS Luton and the Manager (Abz) gave me a floor lamp for free but with the deal. He promised if i change the fuse it would work, i took it, changed the fuse and bulbs but it didn?t work.Later he said its not up to him if it works or not. He came across really rude.Its common sense that if the floor lamp didn?t work then he should offer some alternative but he said no ?it was for free?. In simple it was dump in the store and he got rid of it through me.I had to book a special cab for that lamp because of the size.Really disappointed

After being told from head office that we could pick new sofas as our faulty sofas discontinued we went back to SCS Hatters way Shad served us on both occasions which didn?t work out again pleasant at first then changed said give a week to solve this issue which I shouldn?t have to wait as soon as she saw more customers coming into store it?s as if she didn?t want to deal with us anymore very rude person would not go to this store again and not recommend it.

Careful, ordered a 2000£ table, they said delivery people would assemble. Table arrived delivery people didn't assemble and said call scs. Called scs they said we will give you £30 credit and you assemble yourself absolutely shocking service never using them again

I should have read the reviews before stepping in but I'm glad now that I never went ahead with any purchase if this experience is anything to go by.Appalled at the level of service I received at this store. As a start there were just two sales assistants who were occupied with customers so no one spoke to use for around 20 minutes until we asked. However our experience with the SA named Shahida/Shaheeda was horrendous and has absolutely put me off shopping at ScS Luton for good. Once we told her which sofa set we wanted (she didn't suggest any and seemed dismissive over our questions), she told us the list price and as we told her that we were not interested in the extra protection pack, her demeanour changed for the worse. We asked if that was the best price and the response was "well are you sure you don't want the protection pack" and started hard pushing us on what our budget was rather than telling us the best price she could do on the sofas alone. She even went as far as refused to give us the best price as she "would only do it for people ready to buy today". We had already said we were cash buyers looking for a deal today but she accused us of not being honest which is the last thing you want to hear from a company where you're ready to spend thousands of pounds at. However it was her that was being dishonest given that she told us there was no movement in price but then after suggested that there was but for the "right people". She was extremely hostile and aggressive even though I was calm and she even suggested that we go and collect the sofas from a Basildon warehouse to save delivery costs. It was a highly unprofessional service and a stain on the SCS experience which unfortunately will not have me recommending them to anyone. I really hope other assistants in the store do not have the same level of professionalism because it was really an awful thing for my family to witness.We have recently renovated and SCS was our first stop but now we will be taking our business elsewhere, even if we have to pay extra because good service is worth more than a bit of money.

During an unusual situation in that the sofa we had ordered failed to fit through the door on 2 attempts, SCS were very supportive and helpful, having said that only reason to 4 stars is due to certain staff members who were rude and careless of our situation with the exception of manager Shahida who was professional and epitomised empathy. Staff members like Bash beware of as he is only after a sale and commission, considering we popped in many times to discuss the issues, I was merely greeted by this member. But nevertheless I have more reasons to be happy then not.

Too much higher pressure selling. I was told that the sale price was only available until 2pm the same day, so I would need to decide quickly if I wanted the sale price. In the end, we found similar but better sofas at a much lower price elsewhere without the hard sell.

I would avoid this store. I regret buying a £2500 4 piece sofa set from them back in April 2021.They were supposed to deliver them by July/August time but did not deliver them until end of September.About 6 weeks in I found the couch flaking (It is supposed to be pure leather) and the stiching coming undone which I reported straight away as it is under warranty but they refuse to help.They are conmen.

The lady who attended was in a rush and at 10 o clock in the morning she seemed exhausted , felt wierd when i was standing and she sat on wvery sofa we inquired about , she was dead tired at 10.30 in the morning , feeling aorry for her , and yeah we didnt buy the sofa
