I went to the bank to open a bank account for my dad.i had all required documents.but unfortunately the manager lady was very unprofessional and rude.she don't have enough experience to understand the paperwork.hopefully someone from main branch will notice and give this lady more training about customer service.

I took a day of work today to go to 6 banks and change addresses and nationwide was the only one that said a change of address wasn't possible as my passport was in my old married name *and 5 years left on it before it expires*,,driving license given to debbie and her branch manager both had the same address on itas my statements and on their database,,very unhelpful and I was told by their complaint team to drive to luton branch and it was a 5 minute simple job- I took the day off work whilst we was short staffed to get this sorted and 5 other banks all done it with no problems..their customer service is awful...I'm not trying to borrow money or do fraud I was simply trying to stop my personal bank statements landing on the doorstep of my old address and I don't go online due to being the victim of fraud for a lot of money in the past and I explained this to the woman over and over in the branch and on the phone..

Lazy staff that lie to customers and fob them off to customer care rather than do their jobs. Tracey is the worst person to approach for assistance. The attitude of the staff in this branch is appalling. Avoid if possible.

I've had an account with Nationwide for over 10years now and can honestly say that I've only had to contact customer service if it's lost card, cancel payment, quiery charge,which has been reimbursed, and all said and done always easy clear and straightforward no worries ;-) Many more to come

Been my primary banking society since I were just a wee lad! Never had a problem. Sometimes the lines are long as but come on its a bank so this is to be expected. I just hope we don't go the way of Greece.. Lines would be ridiculous!

People who's working here don't know what means customers service and they lie a lot! Dissapointed!
