JtAphhrique is my go to place to get all my dresses sown, whether an African style or any other. Joyce is always so helpful, very friendly and patient, and her tailor always does an amazing job. I used JtAphrique for my wedding dress and change over outfits, and each one was sown to perfection. Thank you so much JtAphrique for making my wedding day so special!!!Also introduced my friends to JtAphrique services for a friends wedding, and they absolutely adored their dresses.The shop itself, has some very nice ready made clothes for both men, women and children and lots of other accessories, like bags and jewllery, which I have purchased. I would also highly recommend their Lechi Shea butter which my husband bought as one of his many pre wedding gifts for me? a bit pricey, but really high quality Shea butter. I must say that JtAphrique is probably the only African clothing store (and there is not that many out there) that has a very wide range of clothes and accessories to buy. Their website seems to only have a handful of what they actually sell inside the store, so well worth taking a trip to their Luton store. (they also occasionally do pop up shop tours inside John Lewis department stores, so worth following them on Tik Tok and Instagram to know when their next tour is, in case they may come to a John Lewis near you)?

Fantastic experience from initial viewing online, to getting measured in store and then receiving my garments. Joyce and her team are very professional and made the process very easy. The shop is amazing with ready made clothing and accessories but wanted something fitted to my exact size which was perfect. Thanks

I visited the Aphrique store in Luton and ordered a tailor-made suit. It arrived [in-store] 2-weeks later as agreed, then they mailed it to my home address free of charge the same day. Its a perfect fit and the tailoring is precise and clean. Great clothing and excellent service!!

I got a beautiful dress from the shop. As a premenopausal woman, this dress gave me a lot of confidence. I got so many compliments, and it was such a buzz . I truly feel beautiful in this dress. It is fun and comfortable to wear. I am so pleased!

I was looking for an embroidered shirt for an event that was just three days away. Emailed the store to find out about sizing and delivery, and got a call within 15min, with advice on size, and assurance I?d have the shirt the next day. Received my shirt today, less than 24hours after placing the order. Great quality shirt, and top notch service overall!

Unfortunately as a previous review if you want a refund they completely ignore emails and chats. My order arrived after my party despite next day (and 5 days to spare) delivery and payment. Would never buy from here again.

Thanks for the poor service. Never received follow-ups via email. I ordered a ready-to-ship item that was supposed to arrive already. Ordered it since Feb. 18. Standard delivery said within 2-3 days. I followed-up w/ the possibility of expediting my shipping (b/c the site says we can reach out and ask for that). Nothing. Haven't heard anything since Feb. 20. Very disappointed. I already was skeptical of this site. Thought it'd be nice to support black bizs but not all of them are worthy of our support. The other reviews must be fake, too.Now that I'm looking at it, the price I paid for my item differs from what I see now. I paid a lot more than what was expected. You will refund me my money - the full $32.46. Hopefully, this public review will grab your attention, since you don't want to respond to email.UPDATE: (3/11/23)Received my item on 3/6 and it wasn't what I even ordered. Different colors and oversized!! Already sent that item back. Better off getting something similar from a non-black owned biz. Smh, wanted to support something authentic. I better get my money back.

My children and I visited the Luton store for a kids painting session. However, once we were there I was really taken by their gorgeous collection. The staff are absolutely amazing. They are all really warm, welcoming and passionate about their African heritage which really adds to the whole vibe of the shop. The painting session was even African history themed. This was a fun and educational visit!

Met these guys in Stratford and absolutely loved the designs and how versatile the dresses were. The patterns are unique and I always get a love of compliments wearing my dress (which btw has pockets!!). Would 100% recommend
