We would highly recommend James Ayres for any carpeting or LVT installation projects. Chris and the team were a pleasure to work with. The carpet Chris recommended for the upstairs and stairwell looks fantastic, and it is exactly what we wanted. The installation team were also v flexible and accommodating to work-a-round our schedule, and the price was v competitive.The carpet was just one part of a home renovation project, but Chris also provided invaluable assistance and insight around other items such as the LVT flooring, and we appreciated his patience, attention for detail, and transparency throughout. Nothing was ever any trouble, and we were given a multitude of free good sized samples too to aid us along the way.Thanks for everything guys.

Really pleased with a fairly small job of re-flooring our upstairs bathroom. Adding some above-standard flooring has really made the rest of the bathroom look higher-spec. Has made a bigger difference to a room we didn't like too much, than we could imagine

All the staff in the shop are very friendly and accommodating.The flooring we chose is a very high quality and worth the money.Shan and Steve who did the fitting were very polite and efficient and went to great lengths to tidy up after themselves.First time using James Ayres. Used James Ayres Flooring on a rather short notice due to timescales.Price was competitive, quality of carpet is really good and fitting was done very professionally.No hidden charges (which you can often see in the mainstream shops).James was great from start to finish, kept me updated and it was nice talking to him as well. Will definitely use again.

I would definetley NOT recommend this company their work is terrible and very unprofessional, they have zero customer services. It all started with us wanting to support a local business to get vinyl fitted in the Bathroom red flags from the beginning had to keep chasing for the "surveyor" to measure up due to no shows, when we agreed payment was made and again, had to chase for the receipt. We had to make repairs to the floor (due to us spotting something not the "surveyor" so we put the date back but kept them informed of everything. Then again we agreed a date or so I thought even with an agreed date the fitters never showed up i was fobbed off constantly even as the customer I had to constantly chase them for a fitting date this went on for WEEKS! It seemed as though they were happy to take the money and not do the work. When the fitter finally came he could not do the work as the bath needed to be unplumbed!!!! And the job was a two man job as stated by the "surveyor" yet they only sent one person!!! Again we were not informed that the bath would need to be unplumbed, so another round of daily chasing for a date which went on for a further 3 weeks whilst the rolled up vinyl was on the floor obstructing my mother who is a pensioner with arthiritis. When the work was finally completed the job was terrible, the fitters did not clean up after themselves, edges were not sealed, they managed to damage the bath in the process chipping it ( see pictures) I complained to no avail 3 weeks later nobody has even bothered to come and look or respond. I have had a few companies come in and they are shocked at how the work has been completed, and have basically said the whole flooring needs to be ripped out and done over. I am surprised they are still in business if this is how they treat their customers, I would NEVER recommend this company it has been a big headache from the start!!
