New opening times of the HSBC Luton branch is ridiculous, this doesn?t not suitable many people. This needs to be changed back to conventional opening and closing times.

Really terrible service. Went to this bank to sort something out quickly with my account. Instead they sent me away saying to phone the bank. Very unpleasant experience. Considering switching banks.

Just don't go to Luton HSBC, it is a nightmare, empty promises by one of their staff saying "everything will be done by 3:30pm before the bank closed the transfer will go through", after we left 2 hours later, problem starts appearing at 4:30pm, transfer has not gone through at all. Now we are being chase, staff here is incompetent, took my signature but nothing is released. I am always happy with HSBC bank and never have problems in other branches, ever since coming to HSBC Luton my perception changes.

My Bank, since last more than 20 years has gone unprofessional. Everyone blames COVID but its unprofessional attitude must be made public. I applied for my child's account online, accepted but then received text to confirm my child's IDs in Bank. No appointment needed.Few days earlier the Bank refused when I went with my child and said apply online. Went there, greeted by a gentleman to wait in queue for service person, after a while a lady came and she enquired and directed me to go to waiting area where someone will be assisting me. After 15 minutes a person asked me to get in cubical and grab a seat. After sitting I told him my case, he said he cannot serve as I did not bring my child with me. Fair enough. none mentioned in the text or while directing me to this gentleman.I felt, wasting my time, taking time-off from work, going in person, and then discharged without service. Should I ask my child to take a break from school and do it again? Is it worth? What a wasteful protocol.

This bank does not even deserve 1 star. I had an appointment booked, I go in the lady tells me they do not do appointments, they then dismissed me and ignored me for 15 minutes. Then in the meeting room the woman made me do the application that I had already done online, and after 40 mins proceeded to tell me that I could not open the account. Will not be returning, have lost a customer.

Has the worst customer service, blocked my account for over 3 weeks because I?ve been transferring money to my own family member and friends. They could clearly see me sending the money and getting my money returned. Using the excuse it?s a large amount, so they blocked it. Made me get a statement from a family member saying they will block soon as they receive. Which of course they lied. DO NOT BANK WITH HSBC, WORST BANK IN ENGLAND!!!

Saturday banking is the worst here. Came early to make sure i was seen as if you turn up with 40 minutes to spare they won't see you. Queued 9.15 to 9 35 then security arrived and they told him it would be another 10 to 15 minutes. Decided to pop to another bank first and was back within 10 minutes. Then waited another 20 minutes to be seen. Not quick. Not easy. Not timely.Considering changing bank. Haven't had the issue in other branches in the country.

I'm a with HSBC for more than 5 years.I was applying for more than 9 months for a business account but even now I don't have my account .Wen u want to speak with someone they are not so friendly over the phone or in Luton branch.Over the phone is too many assistants how do not speak English to understand them and wen u are not English and your first language is no English is so difficult to understand them .I'm very disappointed with this bank and I'm trying to transfer my account to Different Bank .
