Very poor customer service. I went to the self-service till as there was only one till open with a long queue. I had a full trolley, and while scanning my items the machine kept asking for staff assistance because of the weight. I asked a staff member, Idris, to approve me removing some bags so I could carry on scanning, but instead of helping, he told me in a rude manner that I should have used the trolley bays (which were already occupied). When I explained this, he said I should have waited ? again, quite rudely.
I then asked for the manager as Idris continued to be unhelpful and confrontational. The assistant store manager, Levi, came over. Instead of resolving the issue, he also told me I should have gone to the tills. During this, Idris stood nearby staring at me in an intimidating way. I told Levi I was so unhappy with the service that I felt like leaving my shopping, to which he replied, ?You can if you want to.? Eventually, he did assist by scanning the rest of my items, but the whole experience was unpleasant.
The service I received at Aldi Laporte Way was unacceptable. Both staff members need additional training on how to treat customers with respect. I normally shop at Aldi Gypsy Lane and the staff there are always polite and helpful ? this was a complete contrast.

Great price very good new layout

Nice location with plenty of car parking. The store itself ws clean and had most of the staple items one may need although I couldn't find any hot dogs.
All in all, I managed to get most items I went for in a nice clean environment and at reasonable prices.

Handy Aldi, well stocked in a good and accessible location. Loads of parking and easy to find.

I shop here regularly and do like..the reason I'm giving a 4 is the car park..not sure who owns but seriously it's a mess and needs cleaning up...rubbish in bushes and in piles at different areas of the car park..it could be council owned nevertheless it's horrible

Aldi is meant to be a family supermarket yet this store has blocked all it's car seat trolleys in with smaller trolley's. Staff saw me struggling with a toddler and a baby yet offered no help. Very disappointing.
