Pharmacist had a very dismissive attitude to me today when I tried to purchase paracetamol based analgesia for my sciatica. Surely I should know what analgesia works best for me as I am the one experiencing the excruciating pain. I would say to this rude pharmacist and his coworkers who took over 5 minutes to serve me even though there was four or them and only one person in front of me, be careful of who you racially profile when they enter this Acorn Chemist establishment because you don?t know what they do for a living.

Word of advice - manager can get very hANGRY!!So I called the pharmacy a couple of days ago asking whether a dosset box could be made for a family member. The gentleman said it was unlikely as they already have too many to make but that I can speak to the manager on Thursday (today after 2pm as that?s when he would be in)So I called today the first time the lady said he was busy and to call back in a few mins but I stated that I didn?t mind holding on but she said to call back. Fair enough.So I call back nearly 20 mins later and I speak to another lady, who said something along the lines that the manager was going to be busy for half an hour(wasn?t very clear) and I stated I just need to ask him one question.Anyhoo manager answers the phone in a respectable manner ?how can I help?? And after I reiterate I just need one question answered, his response along the lines was ?you might have already had your lunch unlike me? ?? now that is not how you treat patients!! I asked the question and he replied and the conversation was over in no more than 30 seconds.I don?t normally leave negative feedback because we all have bad days but a little care and respect in this profession must be shown?

Very helpful lot in there. They wont just server you. But also to try advise you best as they can as they serve you. They always seem to be interested in genuinely trying to help you.

Sent partner to purchase single Covid flow test which cost £2. She was told there was a deal on 5. Next day sent partner to pick up 5 and was charged £10.99! Phoned up to ask how the pricing was calculated as if I bought 5 single it would be cheaper (£10) I was told in a extremely confrontational and rude manner that this is the way the pricing is as advised by their colleague.Fortunately 99p is not going to make an impact on me but it is the principle as times are hard for a lot of people especially aged and low earners who are making decisions on whether to eat or heat and do not expect to be ripped off!

Worst staff.The security refused my vaccine booster.Before me a girl was accepted while in my turn security refused and sent me back.The NHS should take action against it.I request the pharmacy boss to investigate about it.Anyhow I went to other pharmacy and got my booster.

An amazing little pharmacy, booked our Covid boosters here could not have asked for a better service. I am an Epi pen carrier which always puts me a little on edge in situations like that but all members of staff were very professional and made me feel valued which is sometimes not the case. It can be embarrassing for a person with allergies to disclose them in public situation due to "looking fussy" this was definitely not the case here. Extra care and attention given before and after the vaccine. Thank you so much to all the dedicated ,hard working staff. Keep up the great work.
