I am so disgusted with the service which is inhumane and inflexible. People at the pharmacy do not even understand that they are dealing with medications that people need to live day-to-day life. Instead of saying: we cannot order this medication at present, it is out of stock, perhaps you need to go elsewhere or look for some solutions. They just inform: out of stock, national shortage, (don't care what you do, wait for months, what do we care.). Like we are talking about a clothing item in the shop. People, no one says that you have anything to do with the shortage but understand others and help them to find solutions in the times of medication shortage. Oh no, not our jobs worth. What solutions? We only know how to follow the rules and anything else too much to think. Oh no, we cannot give you the prescription back to go and look at another pharmacy, because our non-existent rules say that if some items on it have been dispensed already, we cannot give it back. Really? And you could not advise at the time when you dispensed the items that one of the items is not likely to be in stock for months and that SOMETHING needs to be done about it? You could not tell the person: take the prescription and try else where? You could not tell, different dosage might be available. Nooo, you just say: out of stock, not our concern, wait for months, who cares.I don't care that you are incompetent and cannot count, prioritise or simply THINK for yourself, but cannot you not see when someone is distressed? Oh no, rules., rules, and rules again. The rules that you could not even show to me when I asked you to show me.I never heard of the rule that a pharmacy cannot issue a duplicate prescription or return the prescription back if the item has not been IN STOCK and not likely to be in stock.Who cares how you deal with queues? You have no clue that people need the medication when they need it and your job is to help find solutions and be a bit more flexible, not to worry that your Saturday part-time low paid job will be jeopardised just because you feel a tiny bit out of your depth. I know, you have not been taught to think independently, but at least have some empathy.

This is a question, not a review. Is it just me or is this store open before 8am (as seen web etc.), and what time? I know that the kiosk and CS counter isn't, but can I shop here before 8am?

There needs to be a system in place to allow people like myself to be able to sit as i have a knee problem and can't stand still for long. All pharmacies are like this and haven't thought about how difficult it is for some to actually do long queues, however because this pharmacy in particular is big in an open space, i think is pertinent to not relay on the client alone to sort this out by embarrassing themselves and explain to every new person that arrives and have to stand up to do so, it's really uncomfortable and stressful, why not give people a number that corresponds to their place in the quieu as they do in busy restaurants? Or I've seen photos with chairs in front of counter, where did they go?

I was concerned after the comments here, but I was in and out with my prescription within 5 minutes. Staff were friendly and despite the queue, there were enough staff to keep it moving. Best prescription collection in my entire life tbh! Very pleased

Staff are polite but the qeueus are way too long, even at quiet times it takes around 30 minutes to be seen.

So, tell me, what is so hard and time consuming to provide customers with something that has been signed of by a medical professional???? Just pick up the preagreed prescription and give it to the customer..... it's not rocket science!!!

They are doing their best with long queues, but why shut over lunchtime? Worked from home so I could go get my prescription at lunchtime but they were shut.

Poor service with long queues, plus it shuts for an hour at lunchtime...helpful to office staff!

Lovely helpful ladies serving here here are fighting to keep up with the terrific demand of the rapid and ever growing Leighton buzzard Population .. like the traffic congestion we will just have to put up with the queues until we get more services on the other side ..

Staff were efficient, friendly and understanding. Having previously been to boots and had unhelpful service there, it's was a pleasure to come here and be treated respectfully and quickly.

Given the whiny reviews here I though I'd leave one that praises all the staff here in difficult times and get their stars up.Well done, thanks for doing what it says on the tin and keeping us safe while you do it.Us - stand in line, take your turn and be safe. If you can't find your shampoo on the shelves it's not their fault.
