Unjustly stole my holding deposit without giving me the property, by citing different bullshit reasons such as not being able to contact the guarantor's landlord, whom is a home owner. They only verbally agreed when I take them to small claims court. If your money are stolen by them unjustly take them to court.

?Be Cautious with Upfront Fees ? Wait Until Your Mortgage is Secured?
I?d like to share my experience to help others avoid a costly mistake. If you?re working with a mortgage advisor, do not pay any fees upfront until they?ve fully secured and completed your mortgage process.
In my case, I was asked to pay for services upfront, only to find out later that the advisor wasn?t able to secure the mortgage for my chosen property. Along the way, delays and unexpected conditions surfaced, and I was left with no mortgage and out hundreds of pounds.
Mortgage advisors may come across as very knowledgeable and professional, but that doesn?t guarantee they can get you the mortgage you need. A skilled advisor should be able to confirm they can secure a mortgage for the specific property you want before any payment is due.
I recommend waiting until every part of the process is finished?property evaluations, loan confirmations, and all paperwork?before paying anything. Otherwise, you may end up paying £600, £700, or even more for services you ultimately can?t use.

Asked re. buying a property (Fox & Sons Crawley) and the young lad, cheeky boy, was really unprofessional on the phone. Good advise but not too happy with the way I was spoken to. Proof is that he'd never sent me the email he also said he was going to send. Really unimpressed

Considering the fact I had to wait 3 months for a working toilet because the toilet was not the right height for the toilet to flush properly, I am now being blamed for said issues because apparently the toilet was raised for my "disability issues".... 1) Nothing to do with my disabilities, 2) My disabilities are not "issues", 3) The way you not only discriminate, but do it in a typed out email....

I am a tenant and each year a gas certificate is needed. Every year the gas engineer makes an appointment then does not turn up. Contacting Sequence to complain and get a different gas engineer is a nightmare. They don't return your calls, deny that you have complained before and always say it is a new staff member as an excuse. Then 12 months later you are going through the same problem when they send the same gas engineer again.

Awful company. The team are incompetent, rude, unprofessional and do not care about their tenants. They will lie through their teeth, deny any accountability for maintenance and disregard claims. We had a plumbing issue for over a month, a broken doors for over a month and could not access the property if nobody was home. Frequently had to break in and climb the fence to get in.Most recently we were lied to regarding fixing structural damage to the property and have had to deal with the coldest months with decayed windows and a broken back door. They lied and told us these would be fixed when we moved in and 9 months into a 12 month contract these have not been fixed and we are told they have no obligation to fix them.We have been passed to 5/6 team members, they all share the same attitude and it looks like this is embedded in their company ethos from the very many complaints they get. They get you in the door, and they are super nice and kind and then once you are in and the contract is signed, that is where the customer service ends. They are scammers, if you have young children or health issues, steer clear as if any emergencies arise, you are in your own.

If I could give Emily V and this company 0 stars I would. She is honestly one of the worst individuals I have come across in this industry.I would recommend not using this property management company as a landlord as you will be heavily disappointed in their quality of work as well as their response time.As a tenant please avoid at all costs if possible and if it isn?t, please ensure you are well aware of your rights as a tenant and the deposit protection process. Emily V tried scaremongering tactics which failed miserably as I was able to rebuke all of her false claims.Emily V in particular tried to tactfully delay the release of a portion of our undisputed deposit and when I threatened to report her and the landlord to TDS for this, she immediately confirmed that the landlord was happy to release the funds. She took DAYS to say she was trying to contact the landlord which was clearly lies. I had a feeling she was embarrassed as she couldn?t even give us the decency of emailing us to say when the deposit would be released. Before this she also tried to manipulate us into disputing our entire deposit fee with TDS with the phrases such as ?I advise? or ?I strongly suggest?, I don?t remember Emily V being a qualified solicitor to be able to do this. Luckily I knew her tricks and challenged her. We didn?t end up listening to her.Avoid at all costs!

These people took over £1300 from a friend of mine (3 months' rent) on top of over £400 of deposit, and when my friend cancelled the contract due to what appeared to be falsely advertised pictures of the property they keep delaying the refund of that 1300 pounds, claiming they need a month to complete the refund, clearly hoping she will give up and leave the country (she has been forced to stay in a hotel). AVOID AT ALL COSTS

They tried to charge me for carpet cleaning, damage, and re-painting the whole house that I had lived in for over 4 years. Everything they wanted money for was proven to have previously existed, but they don't pay attention to logic. Any chance you get to fight your landlords dispute if Sequence is involved take it, and if it doesn't work just go through arbitration don't let them scare you away from doing it.

I moved out of my property in Brandon the last week of March and there were no damages and it was left very clean, the initial inventory report and check out list showed no significant difference. I have not received my deposit even after numerous inquiries. I have been getting the run around from this company. It?s a lot of money; £1100. I?m a US service member and had to seek legal assistance and have not gotten anywhere. If you want to see your money at the end, with no hassle, look elsewhere!!
