I visited the Homebase store in Leighton Buzzard today and was quite disappointed. Many items lacked correct pricing labels, and some displayed prices appeared outdated. Towards the end of the store, I noticed pillows scattered across the floor.
Despite the store not being busy, with only a few customers present, I observed three staff members standing around without attending to the disarray. When I raised concerns, the store manager attributed the mess to customers not returning items to their places. However, this seemed more like an excuse than a valid explanation.
Given the store?s low ratings online, I?m not surprised by the lack of attention to detail and customer service. It?s unfortunate that the area manager doesn?t seem to be addressing these ongoing issues.

Poor.
Staff are not trained enough, and no one seems to be able to answer questions.
Not their fault as they have been thrown
in at deep end.
Higher management should be accountable.
The Range has a reputation of being a quality store, but LB is an exception.
Train staff properly and give them a chance to help customers.

Shopping Homebase Leighton Buzzard yesterday - Alise ( hopefully I have spelt her name correctly ) was so helpful on the plant section as usual - she's great !
Anyway purchased an industrial style ( plastic ) planter and recycled three very tired house plants into it. the planter looks far more expensive than it actually cost ! Well done Homebase and Alise.

Even though the staff at the store are being left in limbo as to what is happening with their store, they couldn't have been more helpful to myself and my dad. The staff member that chatted to my dad about the lawnmower he was purchasing was so helpful and kind and gave us the time of day, which most stores are lacking badly. 10/10 from me ?
