Can you please update correct open and closing times it 17.12 and the store is closed 2 staff out in the carpark shutters down on the shop yet it says you close at 6 we had something to pick up after 4pm yet we come and it's closed.

I am writing to express my appreciation for Matt, an exceptional employee at the Halfords Leighton Buzzard store, whose dedication and professionalism have stood out during multiple visits. At the same time, I would also like to bring to your attention some concerns regarding service inconsistencies within the store.
Matt has helped me on several occasions, from fixing my son?s bike to changing my car?s windscreen wipers. He consistently demonstrates outstanding customer service, expertise, and a willingness to go above and beyond. He is calm, hard-working, and highly knowledgeable, ensuring that customers receive the correct products and services.
For instance, during a recent visit to replace my car?s windscreen wipers, another employee selected and installed a wiper without first confirming the cost or checking the fit. When I questioned the sizing, I was assured it was correct. Fortunately, Matt intervened, double-checked the product, and found that the wrong wiper had been installed. Thanks to his diligence, the issue was quickly resolved.
Another situation involved my son?s bike, which has a care plan. Despite my son walking 30 minutes to the store twice, he was turned away?once due to a long wait time and another due to backlogged repairs. However, when I spoke to Matt, he quickly checked stock availability and confirmed that the bike could be repaired. Despite being on his lunch break when my son returned with the bike, other staff attempted to turn him away again while accepting repairs for another customer. Matt, upon his return, immediately addressed the issue and fixed the bike in just 15 minutes.
Matt is a true asset to your team, displaying exceptional work ethic and leadership by supporting both customers and colleagues. However, I have observed a lack of consistency in service from other employees, with some showing limited accountability and customer focus. This has led to frustration for customers who rely on Halfords for dependable service.
I sincerely hope Matt receives the recognition he deserves, and I also encourage Halfords to address the wider store service issues to maintain the high standards that Matt so clearly upholds.

Visited Halfords LB yesterday. The team there are really helpful and friendly. Given that I had no idea what I was looking for, except wipers and oil, I came away with the correct products.

Having purchased pedals for my bike, I took it in to Halfords as I had struggled to replace them myself. On arrival, Ryan was incredibly friendly and helpful. He explained they did not have their bike technician in, however were willing to help where they could. Between Matt and Ryan, they managed to replace my pedals. They could have easily turned me away, but I cannot thank them enough for their effort, friendliness and team working to help their customer as best they could, given the situation. Many thanks again guys - I will certainly return to this store.

I broke down just outside Leighton Buzzard and my insurance said they'd be a few hours before they could get to me. I found a local mobile tire fitting who assisted me, however while I was waiting a wonderful gentle (not sure if this is the correct Halfords Mobile location). But the guy stopped to see if I was okay. His name is Chris and I'm truly grateful he stopped until the mobile tyre service I called arrived. My car then wouldn't start and both Chris & the mobile guy both grabbed jump leads to help get me going. Chris if this gets to you. THANK YOU SO MUCH. Halfords have one great employee, you re a true asset to Halfords ?????

I had a problem with my headlights and Ryan and his male tall blonde colleague that I didn?t manage to catch name of helped me with pleasure and smile. I didn?t have to wait long but I?m sorry that my car was so stubborn and didn?t cooperate smoothly, however there?s nothing that Ryan and his colleague couldn?t do! Thank you for sorting my problem out! All the best for the team!
