Bought a car 2 months ago. Noticed a crack on windscreen 3 weeks later. Contacted my insurance and they came to repair and was told it was not a new crack, had been repaired. D&J denied all knowledge. 10 days after I bought the car, the tyre pressure warning light came on, pumped tyres up, and 10 days later, light was on again, then it came on every 5 days. Contacted dealer who told me could be some one letting my tyres down! Most ridiculous reply! Finally after much aggro, they agree to take the car in to fix the problem. 10 days later the warning light was on again. Finally, I took the car to have it checked at my garage It turned out there was a nail in one tyre and another was cracked. The car passed MOT but no advisory note about cracked tyres. I have to pay for 2 new tyres. I could not have a test drive and could not pay with credit card when I first visited D&J Ltd, because I am a pensioner. On hind sight, I should have gone some where else, D&J denied all knowledge of faulty tyres and cracked screen. Not a very honest dealer in my opinion. So thumbs down from me and beware when dealing with D&J Autos Ltd.

Decided to have a look at the car we've been looking for despite seeing the 1 star reviews, but we found them to be perfectly pleasant to deal with, no problem going for a test drive, no problem seeing history, no pushyness from anyone there at all, an thoroughly pleasant experience and we drove away the car we wanted an hour later (took a while to get through to the insurance company on the phone!), 5 stars, very happy, love the new car!

I bought a mokka from them from the word go I have never looked back it was a good price for a 15 plate picked it up cleaned it put diesel in it had it till the next mot and it flew through well done and thank you for all your help would buy another from them tomorrow if I had to

Very very bad experience. I was told that I could test drive a Nissan Qashqai on the phone. Came in to view the car and was told I am not allowed to test drive unless I buy. The sales team were very bad and kept making excuses not to test drive. Will not recommend

I telephoned and booked an appointment to view a Land Rover Freelander. I arrived at the agreed time and looked at the car on the forecourt. I went inside the showroom and asked to view the service history file and was told ?No, not until you?ve bought the car. You?ll just have to trust me.? Needless to say I got back in my own car and drove home. 3 hours of my life wasted.I then telephoned to let them know out of courtesy I would be posting an accurate review of my experience. Before hanging up abruptly on me, I was told they?d since sold the car anyway. What, with the mismatched tyres (one had a nail in it) and inability to view even a redacted service history file? Of course they did?I think I?ll now watch an episode of Minder to see the real Arthur Daley at work!

After selling my daughters car for almost £7k we spent the day driving around looking for a slightly larger car. At every garage we visited we were greeted by very friendly sales people.........until we arrived at D&J!! We spent around 15 mins looking at 2 cars which ticked all the boxes and my daughter went to ask if we could have the keys to look inside.No was the answer as it was appointment only due to Covid and their antibac cleaning requirements.Ok fair enough but there was no one else there and no one arrived in all the time we were there not exactly rushed off their feet #tumbleweedMy daughter asked about a test drive and again No was the answer until we commit to buy! When she questioned how we could tell if the car was ok without a test drive the answer was 'all our cars are fine'.We stood outside for a while not really believing what had just happened. If i ran my sales business like D&J and was rude to my customers i would be quickly out of business. Simply the rudest most obnoxious sales person ive ever met!!One star is too higher rating!

Went to take a look at the car to buy and I was a bit surprised that there was no one else. However, I had a look at the car on the inside and it all looked good to me and the only box for me to tick was a test drive. I was shocked when John told me that I can't take for a drive due to Covid and "roads being too busy". How can you buy a car without a test drive ? He just lost a sale on the car
