My parents were married here 65 years ago. Visited from Oz. WOW!! Such a magnificent building - the history is incredible. The Cafe tea and cake was Yum too.

Parish Church of Leighton Buzzard in the centre of town. Several hundred years old with a long history. Very impressive building with one of the tallest spires in England. Has an excellent organ fitted recently after a fire consumed the original one. Concerts are also held in the church occasionally. Worth a visit and has a coffee shop open on some days.

Monday morning. Not only is the church itself closed, even the churchyard is locked and bolted.EDIT: having now spent a week in this town I can now see why a church would choose to remain locked. Leighton Buzzard is full of young people with destructive tendencies and too much time on their hands. I think the church has probably made a wise decision.

Long standing parish church of Leighton Buzzard with some newer repairs and building work after a fire several years ago. Many services through the week and a welcoming coffee shop open on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
