Visited this Tesco around 6:40pm and had a really disappointing experience. The staff at the till was blunt and seemed more interested in chatting with a colleague than acknowledging customers. I wasn?t greeted, wasn?t told the total, and didn?t even get a ?thank you? at the end. Just pure silence and attitude like I was bothering her.
It wasn?t even that busy, but there was zero effort to be polite or professional. Honestly, it felt like basic customer service was completely missing. If this is how regular customers are treated, I won?t be coming back anytime soon

I just went in to grab a couple of energy drinks ? I?m 23 and clearly look my age ? but the lady at the cashier treated me like a criminal. She refused to serve me because someone else earlier tried to buy an energy drink without ID. What does that have to do with me? That?s not how customer service works.
I was more than happy to show my ID, but instead of handling the situation professionally, she started shouting at me in front of other customers, saying ?Don?t show me your ID on your phone! I want to see it in real life!? I?ve never been treated this rudely in my life. She was negative, unhelpful, and honestly gave Tesco a terrible image. If she doesn?t like dealing with people, maybe she shouldn?t be in customer service. Very unpleased and will avoid this location in the future.

Served by an Asian lady today, saw me standing at the counter waiting to pay and spend close to 3 mins doing something else despite me making her aware I was waiting. Not the first time I've gotten a rude vibe from this same lady

Rude and unfriendly member of staff. My daughter who is 30 wanted me to stop off to buy a particular brand of bread. I asked her to buy me 20 cigarettes whilst I waited in the car. She came back a few minutes later - with the bread but no cigarettes. She was told as she had no ID she was unable to serve her. My daughter asked how old she thought she looked and she said 25.
So I went in and pointed out the sign where it said if you look under 25 you need ID. Bearing in mind she told my daughter she looked 25 even though she is 30 I asked her why she didn?t serve her then???
I then asked her if she wanted to see a copy of her passport that I have in my photos and she said no. Ok then! I then asked for the cigarettes I wanted and she wouldn?t serve me in case I was buying them for her.
My question is even if I was buying them for her - which I wasn?t - don?t you have to be 18 to smoke.
She was very rude and abrupt. I will not be shopping there again.

Hiya people
If you do the national lottery DO NOT DO IT FROM TESCO EXPRESS STORES because if you win anything over £100 you cannot get the cash winning from these stores there staff yesterday confirmed it to me we only keep £100 cash float ,they are spoke to pay up to £500 cash as they have agreed with the national lottery company before they got the license to sell there products, tesco express just want you to buy there goods then not honour your winnings ,I will definitely will not be buying my lottery tickets anymore, I'll do it on line least it will payed direct into my bank account immediately ?

Had an awful experience just now! There was a Asian looking lady serving at the counter and she didn?t had a name tag and she was very rude and not professional at all. We wanted to have few alcohol drinks to celebrate and we asked price for a one specific drink and she asked my ID for it and the people I am 30 years old and when I tried to show my Id she told me to go back to the line and come back just to tell me the price of the drink! I never experienced this type of unprofessional behavior in any of the tescos. Would never step on this store!!!!

Was in there at 1:15pm today, served by a youngish Asian lady. She was chatting to her colleague in there whilst serving me, at no point did she tell me how much it was or was there a thank you, very rude customer care and won't he returning.

Don't go I've been going to tesco for years as a child with my mother I've popped in today the rudest cashier I was polite though my change at me not going back and will tell everyone I know what a shame disappointed Mr Andrew Charles Aris?

Staff on the whole are amazing but this evening at 8:30pm I was spoken down to a disrespectfully by a staff member called who needs to learn to respect his elders. He left me feeling intimidated so I was unable to continue shopping even though security nicely offered to walk round the shop while I shopped.

Good for what it is, a bit small but that's the unit, not the tescos. a bit better than one stop as more modern including self checkouts.

Lottery on who you get on the till. It's either great service or wish you hadent bothered going in there.
