Had a wonderful meal here Sunday lunch time ... great value for money . The staff were amazing, great team working together and communicating.lovely atmosphere. Totally recommend a visit. Beautiful setting

Birthday celebration

Visiting my Pops took him there for lunch to celebrate his birthday and also fathers day.
Food I had (King Prawn & Chorizo Spaghetti) was absolutely delicious ?. Banoffee cheesecake was a little disappointing lacking in flavour.
Great setting overlooking the lake watching the wakeboarding. Would have been further enhanced if the weather was better. However that's no fault of the restaurant just typical English bank holiday weather.
Exceptionally clean. Was an absolute delight to see cutlery polished as it came out of the kitchen and when placed inside the linen napkins gloves were used to avoid fingerprints. There's not many places where this takes place in this day and age.
Staff very attentive, polite and couldn't do enough.
Would highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to visit again

There for a funeral. Access with lift for wheelchair user. Staff were discretely moving around . I didn't eat (coeliac) but was told by partner food was nice.

Yesterday my husband and I visited Corner 5. It all started to go wrong when we waited almost 30mins for someone to take our drinks and food order.
I had to go in and ask someone to please take our order.
My husband ordered a pizza and I the chicken salad with chunky chips. I specifically asked for no feta as I am allergic and was told that would be fine.
Another 30 mins later the food arrives with feta so had to go back in to tell them I?m allergic. They also forgot the chips I ordered which l had to ask for again. They brought fries instead of the chunky chips ordered. Another lady comes in and asks me whether I told them I was allergic which was rather annoying. I?m allergic so of course I told them.
To be honest they didn?t even ask us before showing us to the table whether any of us had any allergies which all other restaurants do. I could have died. There was no real apology for the mistake whatsoever. Their mistake could have been incredibly dangerous.
New salad arrived and there was no dressing. No flavour and chicken was dry. I ended up leaving very disappointed. The pizza my husband had was tasty.
Worst of all no one came to check with us if the food was all ok considering the problems we had. We waited for a long time again and had to go in to request the bill. We asked the gentleman at the bar to remove the service charge as we felt we received no service at all but he even didn?t care why. He just said no problem and gave us the bill.
Overall really disappointed. It?s such a shame because it?s a lovely location.

Enjoyed the afternoon meal fantastic service good atmosphere, look at your bill when you get it as they automatically add 10% service charge. This let it down for me.
