What really sets Chequers apart is the atmosphere and service. Jon, the manager, is incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ensuring guests feel at home. His hospitality, along with the attentive staff, makes for a great experience every time.
Another bonus?Chequers is dog-friendly! It?s a great spot to relax with your furry friend while enjoying a drink or a bite to eat.
If you're looking for a warm and inviting pub with quality food, affordable drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere, Chequers is definitely worth a visit!

We usually go to the Broughton hotel in MK but we couldn't get in because they were full when I tried to book online.
The restaurant is a lovely venue with a variety of seating areas. It's closer to Leighton buzzard than the MK one so we'll probably be coming back here again in the future. They had my favourite cider brand (Lilley's) which was lovely. I went with my family and friends to celebrate passing an interview. I shared the crown of burgers meal and the chicken new yorker. I would recommend the chicken new yorker, perfect sides and the chicken was really tender. I shared a chocolate fudge cake with my mum and it was really lovely. I haven't had one of these in a while and the portion size was great to share. The staff were really friendly and knowledgeable.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a large ramp inside the restaurant which is perfect for wheelchairs and pushchairs.

We went in as a party of 11 for a birthday dinner and catch up. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we were immediately shown to our seats.
On seating, we noticed straight away that it was cold inside the building. So cold that most of us kept our coats on. The people dining near us were also complaining about how cold it was inside the building. This isn't a good thing so I hope they sort the heating situation out ASAP.
We ordered our food and drinks, this was done quite efficiently by the staff member behind the bar - i didn't get his name, but he was nice and did his job well.
We didn't wait too long for the food to arrive, we did have a few complaints - one steak was overdone, 2 eggs were missing and some roast potatoes tasted like reheated leftovers. Other than that, the food was satisfactory - and it took our minds off how cold the venue was.
Overall, it wasn't a bad meal, everyone enjoyed themselves and the staff were great! Just sort out the heating guys x

Excellent service all round made a catch up with good friends even better. Absolutely recommend.
Only annoying thing was the poor internet connection when trying to order through the app but the customer service at the bar was brilliant.

Great place for cheap pub grub. Clean pub with friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was fresh and tasty. We didn't wait long for food.
