I went yesterday to donate clothes and some other items, and the shop assistant at this charity was extremely rude and impolite. She told me, in an annoyed tone, that they don?t accept clothes at that time and asked why I didn?t come before 3:00 PM. I have never experienced anything like this in any charity shop before. I was really upset because I just wanted to do something good.
I told her I had a few more things, around two bags, and when I returned with four bags she snapped at me saying, ?You said you had two bags!? When I tried to leave a few more things, she told me to take them back because they wouldn?t accept them.
This person is very disrespectful and honestly shouldn?t be working there. Charity shops should be places of kindness, not rudeness. At the end, she didn?t even say thank you ? she was upset that she couldn?t go home until she sorted the clothes and blamed me for coming so late. Unbelievable!
