Not sure what has happened to our once delicious local Indian but thoroughly dissapointed tonight. Onion bhaji were so dry and hard you couldn't even bite into them. And the meat from both meals was undercooked. Also had a very bland and tasteless madras sauce. What a shame.
Definitely wont be rushing back.

Just had a fantastic meal at The Spice Lounge food superb so tasty and cooked to a high standard as normal. Service was excellent as always such friendly staff always smiling and never over attentive. Thank you for such a lovely meal.

I got a delivery from Spice Lounge and ordered a meal for one.
It was such a shame as it took an hour and 20 minutes for the food to arrive.
When I phoned after an hour, I was told it?s because I live 15 minutes away (I live under 10 minutes) but there was no apology for it. When the food did arrive, it was lukewarm at best but it did taste good and very flavourful.
Had there have been some acknowledgement about the time it was taking/had taken maybe I could have overlooked it but it did feel a bit disappointing.
I don?t doubt that had the meal have been in the restaurant it would have been great, but the delivery was just a real disappointment.
