Signals all over the place... what can I say more

This is a lovely little museum. It's sad that in the middle of 2024 it will close for good.It is only open the first Saturday of each month. It's free but you will need photo ID for your visitors pass as it still part of the Ministry of Defence. No ID, no admission. So if your interested in this sort of thing you better start making plans soon. You have to park where it says Guard House parking when you turn into the visitor centre. Then go over the road to the guard house (see picture) to get your pass and register any vehicles.Once you've got your passes, drive toward the lift barrier and show your passes to the person on the gate. You can see the car park in front of you. The museum is opposite the car park.

Had a great visit to this little gem of a museum. Staff are so knowledgeable, it's impossible not to get caught up with their excitement and fascination with all the kit on display. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the vicinity.

We really enjoyed visiting the Signals Museum at RAF Henlow. The volunteer guides were a showpiece all by themselves with in depth knowledge and fascinating stories. The museum itself has many items and the hour spent there did not suffice in terms of reading material and ambling about. Really worth the visit if you are interested in signals or war time history.

Lots of interesting military artefacts that were very high tech in their day... And the staff have managed to make many of them work!!!

All aspects of the signals world and very well informed guides but as this is on an active RAF base the entry may be restricted
