just been to Tesco today shopping. It was so nice to see all the food well displayed , and good prices. But what made the shop better, was the support from staff when i got to the till.

Exchange area
I arrived a Tescos in Flitwick at 10:20am on a Sunday. To see the exchange unit was not open u till 10:30am. I decided to look at the clothes and book to lose 10mins. At 10:33 the young lady took her time to open up the exchange unit, and then told us it would take her 15minutes to set up. I had somewhere to be by 11am and had to leave without my euros because of the lack of bad time management. Very disappointed by this service.

I may have discovered the most delicious cottage cheese in the world! I stumbled across full fat cottage cheese by Garaham's. wow. and a maximum triple yum (yumyumyum) score awarded !

The staff are lovely and most are very kind and polite, I would give 5 stars for them. The Asian security guards are completely unprofessional and always looks at you as if you are doing something wrong.
According to the self checkout staff he often tells them to watch out for me because apparently I look like a thief? Because I have a beard? So does he?
At the time I was a regular and would be in there every other day and know at lot of the staff.
UPDATE:
I went in and he just followed me round the store, my daughter was crying because she wanted a food pouch in the shelf. I gave it to her to make her happy and stop crying but forgot to scan it which is completely my fault and apologised to the staff at the till and security guard who was behind me. The Tesco staff were so genuine and kind about it 'We have all done it' etc. I did feel bad at the time and they could see that.
The security guard on the other hand spoke to me like I was a thug and made an issue. (Probably because he had seen this review and I clearly show my identity) I obviously hurt his ego and he was just causing as much of a fuss as he could because of this. Even the Tesco staff seemed awkward and thought it was a bit to much. Also like to add I'm clearly not alone, most reviews on Google alone say about the security here and similar issues.
You won't see me again. I'll go Waitrose or Aldi.

Some of the most miserable and rude staff here I?ve ever encountered.
Do they get given customer service training I wonder?
I only ever use the self check out / self scanning system and it?s 9/10 the same staff on them.
I?m always polite and say hello and thankyou etc and I just get stared at, ignored and they walk off.
I?m a big girl I can take it, but when it?s towards children it?s a bit different.

Not recommended for click and collect. I'm still waiting for my food 20 minutes after notifying Tesco of my arrival (you have to notify them through the app). Only two click and collect parking bays - not enough. Not a patch on my usual click and collect. Petrol station fine (and 24 hours).

I came here to write a review to find others already saying the same. The security guards I have seen intimidating young kids just because their kids it seems. They never actually took back anything. The security guards language and attitude is poor. It's Tesco. Not a nightclub in London. Definitely glad these guys aren't police officers. I won't let my children ever shop here. No thank you.

The Asian security guard - as others have pointed out - is a total jobsworth. He stopped me just after leaving the checkout, outright accusing me of shoplifting. When he asked for my receipt, I told him I hadn?t printed one off. Thankfully, I was able to show proof of purchase on my Tesco app. No apology, no acknowledgment - just a snide remark: 'You should?ve printed out your receipt.' Why is Tesco still employing this man?!

This shop I the worst I Britain. It's an absolute joke every time.e I go in the shop the Asian security guard with glasses I harassing somebody and starting a fight some of the stuff I really nice but most of the management are absolute horrible I will never go I. This shop again I don't want my children to be subjected that sort of behaviour!!!!!!!

This whole refit is awful. Staff are lovely though - don't blame them for the refit, it's not their job to listen to you act like it's their doing.
Even after Aldi has opened, the prices here continue to rise and the quality has continued to drop. Their own-brand dairy products go off in the blink of an eye.
Every third time I go in there on average the shop is filled with a thick pungent smell of sewage and NOBODY talks about it. There are never any notices about why it's happening.
The security person walks about as if he has nothing to do but everything to prove. Why are you wearing a bulletproof tactical assault vest in Tesco mate - you walk around like a Lego man.
