Disappointed as room although large was quite shabby and needed some attention in respect of decor, as did most of the inside of the Hotel. We had a lovely nights stay here in an upgraded room with a four poster bed. The staff were incredibly friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Yes it’s a little tired which is to be expected for building of that age but this didn’t detract from the charm or service .
