Would of stayed for a few more beers if I didn't have the bar staff have a row with her dad next to me, boring pub, expensive beer. Maybe manners wouldn't go a miss.

Unfortunately due to a very loud obnoxious group of ladies at one of the tables we were unable to stay for our meal today. When I approached a member of staff about this she offered to ask the group to be quieter however I declined this as it appeared no support was offered to the staff member by management or additional staff, and I felt the situation would escalate. My friend who was with me has autism and auditory processing issues and this was not taken into consideration by the blackbirds team in a correct manner, we planned to order a full set of courses and drinks to add to our experience, however this was not possible due to the at from the horrible behaviour displayed by these other individuals. In the future I would recommend that more thought should go into behaviour that is inappropriate like this from the customers and better support offered to other customers trying to have a enjoyable experience at the pub setting.

Was a regular here because I absolutely loved the atmosphere, staff and food but tonight was the last time.
We booked as usual at 5pm. When we arrived we found we had been seated next to a drunken hyena-level cackling band of women. I understand enjoying yourself but when the noise volume and high pitched screeching and inappropriate behaviour was too much to stand.
We asked if we could switch tables but there wasn?t none. Was offered a seat outside in the pitch black and drizzle ?
Instead of them asking the rabble to please quieten down as they passed the wine bottle around each other to drink out of, blackbirds obviously preferred losing the sales that me and my friends put in of full courses and cocktails.
We had no choice but to leave as it was too overwhelming and headache inducing.

Just not enough staff on, two of our group had the Pensioner Christmas Meal it came out 10 minutes after we had finished our main meal, my husband just left it he had gone past it, he just got up & left.

Extremely slow service today and was not that busy. The soup could have been hotter, food ok but pudding was lovely. In no rush to serve us today and won't he returning. This happened last time we came so this is the final time now.

The food took an hour to arrive but, as ever in these cases, the communication was inadequate. When we enquired after an hour we were told that customers that day were informed of a 45 minute wait when ordering. We were not.

We were able to get a table for a lovely Sunday roast. Ryan and Fallon were so helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was lovely.
Parking: There is parking meter that?s you don?t have you use at weekends and in the week there is a screen inside the pub for you to enter your reg number.
