I had the misfortune of dealing with Noah and Vicky during a recent visit, and it was one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I?ve ever had. I waited over 10 minutes at the pump for them to simply authorise it ? something that takes one click. Instead of doing their job, they seemed more interested in finishing their personal conversation inside the kiosk than actually serving customers.
To make things worse, when the pump finally did get authorised, it still wasn?t working, and it took them another 10 minutes to come out and sort it. Not an apology, not a sense of urgency ? just attitude, especially from Vicky, who clearly couldn?t care less that people have places to be and don?t have time to waste while staff stand around.
If you don?t want to do your job properly, maybe don?t work in a customer-facing role. Completely unprofessional and totally disrespectful of people?s time.
19/07 - I am writing to formally complain about the unacceptable conduct of staff at your Dunstable branch on 19th July at approximately 1:15 PM.
I have previously left a Google review regarding poor service at this store, and it became clear during this visit that staff had been discussing it beforehand. When I attempted to purchase a Red Bull, I was asked for ID ? which I would normally have no issue with ? but the way it was handled by Daniella and Charlene (the manager) was disgraceful.
Daniella openly mentioned my past review, making it obvious they were looking for a reason to be difficult. When I tried to respond, Charlene came out and started ranting at me aggressively, speaking over me, raising her voice, and even saying she ?doesn?t get paid enough to deal with customers.? She became visibly angry, to the point of going red in the face. I admit I swore back in frustration, which I regret, but her attitude was entirely unprofessional and provoking.
I understand you operate a Think 25 policy, but Red Bull is not a legally age-restricted product. I was holding my car keys, having clearly arrived in a car, which should have made it obvious I?m over 16 ? the minimum age to purchase such drinks. This ID check seemed more like an excuse to create conflict rather than genuine policy enforcement.
The attitude and behaviour of both Charlene and Daniella were completely unacceptable for customer-facing staff. I left the store feeling disrespected and humiliated.
I would appreciate this matter being investigated and a response on what action will be taken.

This petrol station staff didn?t swipe my nectar card from the app. She said it?s not allowed. I think she didn?t swipe my card but instead she uses her own card to build points & make money. I use the card other places by the app. Can someone please check what scam are the staff of this petrol station doing

I dont know if someone experienced same issue, but I spotted at 2 cars the tank needs more litres to get full than other petrol stations, I?d understand it would be error of 0.5 or 1l, but not 4 l. When I filled up from esso or shell the tank took exactly amount as per half tank, 25l out of 50, while here 28-29 ?they said pumps are checked and accurate, but i dont believe this, they lie on quantity and sell it for cheaper?

Visited this petrol station today, 32° heat, only car in the place, opened the car doors a little to let air through only to be bellowed at to close the doors before filling up, went to the kiosk to ask why on earth would he stop me filling up because a door is open, said some fill up and drive off, asked if they have plate recognition cameras and cctv , yes they do ! Said he would get the sack if he allowed me to get petrol with a door open it is their policy, Sainsbury's your policy is idiotic what do you do with a motor bike who could make off much quicker than a car or a cabriolet whos driver could hop into their car quickly also. It's an insult to human intelligence and a ridiculous thing especially when its 32° I noticed no other cars were filling up during the period so perhaps others are also fed up with your ridiculous policy, get a grip and move with the times. Never again !

Good place for fuel ive been to other petrol stations and some tend to rip you off or not provide the correct petrol i think this could be the fact some petrol stations will scam consumers for example bp at dunstable downs service put E5 petrol in both E10 but i only noticed this when i got charged for super unleaded same with tesco dunstable give you incorrect amount for your money and one esso petrol station at goleston on sea gt yarmouth scam on petrol and give you no fuel beaware not all petrol stations are legit as are run by third party services so just know where to fill and your get the full amount this is a goverment issue and taxes should be compensated to us consumers but trading standards did not care about my concerns and this is the world we live in being scammed out of our money and over charge on taxes for roads not fixed by any councils when will the goverment pay back what is owed to us in compensation fact.

Allmost every morning I'm coming for coffe, unfortunately there is no food in fridge at all so we can't get meal deal which they using as promo to bait customers in every petrol station.Horrible...

So well organised getting customers into the garage to get fuel, one staff member at the entrance asking what type of fuel and on what side your filler is then relaying that info to another member of staff who guides you onto a fuel pump thus keeping the queue down to a minimum and helping customers to be in and out in minutes. Well done Sainsbury?s garage Luton Road Dunstable.

Would like to say how brilliantly the staff controlled the queue while getting petrol yesterday. I queued for 15 mins was directed to the pump. Quick and easy. The friendly staff. The well done!!

Tyre inflation Machine is not working again!!!??? It often is not working ?properly. I have to keep going elsewhere Namely 'Tesco'. Sainsbury would be more local for me, not happy ????
