I have been taking my own and my partners car for servicing and mot`s for a couple of years now and would highly recommend them. Proper people, doing a proper job. Well done and keep it up.

Where do I start, First off would not trust these people with my car again. Took my ST in for a MOT, needed to get the rear calliper and brake cable changed beforehand as well as the lights repaired. While doing the MOT they found that there was a hole under the side skirt that would need to repaired to get it through the MOT. The side skirt was removed and the welding was done. When I went back to see them the next day I was told it failed due to the below Repair immediately (major defects): * Parking brake efficiency below requirements (1.4.2 (a) (i)) * Brake lever has insufficient reserve travel (1.1.2 (a)) * Exhaust carbon monoxide content after 2nd fast idle exceeds default limits (8.2.1.2 (b)) * Exhaust carbon monoxide content at idle exceeds default limits (8.2.1.2 (b)) * Nearside Rear Suspension component mounting prescribed area excessively corroded significantly reducing structural strength (5.3.6 (a) (i)) Repair as soon as possible (minor defects): * Nearside Front Anti-roll bar linkage ball joint dust cover severely deteriorated (5.3.4 (b) (i)) Also that he was not able to the side skirt back on the car. * I was then told that I would need to get new Catalyst Converts to get it to pass which I brought at a great price, Also that this is not something they want to do for less than £300, I brought these off of a supplier of stainless steel exhaust suppliers in Essex , was only charging £75 each one. I took the car and went to another garage to see if someone local would be able to fit these. Lucky for me they know what they are doing. They told me that I would need to run an injector cleaner through is as when they did an emission test it was not far off. They also told me that the welding was not done correctly and that it needed to be Seam welded not spot welded as the side skirt was still off the car this would be a MOT failure. When I questioned Arnie about this his exact words was once the side skirt is back on the car you wouldn't be able to see this so it doesn't matter, even though the side skirt was still not on the car it would have to be failed due to this as he was not going to put this back on (his words). After hearing this I could not trust this garage with my car and decided to take it to another one. As I said before lucky for me they knew what they was doing, My MOT was checked again and to my surprise there was a lot on there that Arnie had missed Do not drive until repaired (dangerous defects): * Offside Front Inner Tyre has ply or cords exposed edge----225/40/18 (5.2.3 (d) (ii)) Repair immediately (major defects): * Brake lever has insufficient reserve travel (1.1.2 (a)) * Windscreen washer not working (3.5 (a)) * Nearside Windscreen washer provides insufficient washer liquid (3.5 (a)) * Offside Windscreen washer provides insufficient washer liquid (3.5 (a)) * Nearside Rear Outer Seat belt anchorage prescribed area strength or continuity significantly reduced sill has an insufficient welded repair (7.1.1 (a) (i)) * Front Registration plate does not conform to the specified requirements incorrect spacing between first and second sets of characters (0.1 (d)) * Rear Registration plate does not conform to the specified requirements spacing incorrect between first and second set of characters (0.1 (d)) * Exhaust carbon monoxide content after 2nd fast idle exceeds default limits (8.2.1.2 (b)) Repair as soon as possible (minor defects): * Nearside Rear Brake hose slightly twisted (1.1.12 (b) (i)) Monitor and repair if necessary (advisories): * Nearside Front Inner Tyre worn close to legal limit/worn on edge edge-----225/40/18 (5.2.3 (e)) * Offside Front Inner Tyre worn close to legal limit/worn on edge edge----225/40/18 (5.2.3 (e)) * Nearside Rear Inner Tyre worn close to legal limit/worn on edge edge----225/40/18 (5.2.3 (e)) * Offside Rear Inner Tyre worn close to legal limit/worn on edge edge----225/40/18 (5.2.3 (e)) * Offside Rear tyre has splitting on inner sidewall----225/40/18 How could Arnie's team miss so many thing off the MOT and considering that I had paid him £290 in cas

Very disappointed the car was with them for nearly three weeks and we were never called for updates as promised. We had to do all the calling. Took the car back after we had paid £750 and assured work completed, as the car was no better. Again no call back and so removed the car......... will go elsewhere.
