Local frozen food centre that competes with Iceland. Has a voucher scheme which equates to some savings with bulk buying when filling your freezer giving a reasonable discount. Ideal for families on a budget.

I like shopping at Farmfoods because they always have so many great offers of items I usually buy anyway in the major supermarkets.Recently, I have taken a liking to the Indian and Chinese meat meal dishes (the ones without a rice compartment). They are 2 for £4. This is at least £1 per item cheaper than their main high street frozen food competitor.I appreciate their large promotional sheet, which is regularly delivered in my area, especially the discount vouchers.I have always found their staff are very helpful. Recently, I asked about Tassimo coffee pods, which I'd seen on the promotional leaflet, 2 x 8 pods per pack for £8. In the major supermarkets, these Latte packs have been reduced to 6 pods for £5. I must have walked straight past them as I pushed my trolley around the store. The shop assistant walked over to the aisle and took one of each item to show me, without asking me to go with them. They told me there was a special price for buying two of any of these pods, and after I told them which flavour I wanted, they took the other two back and brought another pack of my preferred choice. It's little things like this that make all the difference.I see many of the items they stock, especially brands and non frozen, are in the big three supermarkets, all of which we have in Dunstable but they are cheaper in Farmfoods. In Dunstable, the car park closest to Farmfoods, Ashton Square, is free after 1pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays, our Town's market days, which is another incentive for going to Farmfoods, just as easily as any major supermarket.Unfortunately, Farmfoods don't deliver but now there's free parking two afternoons a week, I can pop in and don't feel I have to spend at least £40 in order to meet a minimum spend for free delivery, their main rival requires.
