The worst surgery I have ever known staff at desk unhelpful. Receptionistneed to relocate to Dover Shores. We would not have a problemWith people coming over from other Countries, as no-one can get past them.

Absolutely fantastic surgery. Always very supportive, caring and compassionate with all of the health issues I have been with. Doctors show that they care about you and make you feel comfortable and at ease. Thank you edelsborough surgery.

This surgery is so much better than our last one. All surgeries are stretched these days, but I am really impressed with how much easier it us to be seen and then level of support we get.

Bad manners, rudeness, insults, bad service, racism, the practice may have improved since the senior Dr left the practice through mental health problems, but it still left a legacy of lack of care for the patient. The management did what he wanted and followed orders. They are now in charge... avoid if you can. For exampleAn elderly woman fell and needed help about 50 metres from the surgery. No one from the surgery would come to help. She lay there for an hour. Staff at the counter genuinely resented being bothered.I have known the surgery for many years and can give it solid 1/10More recently, the practice missed two appointments and "lost " a prescription without any care or attempt to put it right. So I made a complaint and without any explanation or apology or going through the complaints process they delisted me. I was in desperate need for medical attention and could hardly walk. They have delayed my treatment for 5 months deliberately and without concern. Its illegal and it is discrimination. The matter is with the PHSO. An arrogant badly run, self serving little England village GP "Business" where the patient doesn't come first.

My review is based on the poor running of the surgery and the receptionists pretending to be doctors and deciding what is and isn't an emergency. It's just plain dangerous.

The dispensary is terrible! I have been with this practice for 3 years, I am on a monthly repeat prescription and they got it right twice in 3 years! Every month there is a surprise, an item missing, one wrong or one sent to Pitstone instead of Edlesborough? If I want a supply longer than a month, I need to book an appointment with the doctor (at least a month in advance) and waste their and other people?s time, just to ask to have more than one box, because I am going on holiday and I need my medicines every day. It?s the same prescription every month!!! When I collect my medicines, I am always asked whether I want to have a repeat prescription for the following month: shouldn?t be the doctor who decide??? Finally, last Friday I went to collect my usual list and one item was missing. They couldn?t give it to me there and then because it needed the approval of the doctor? seriously? They swore it would have been put on the urgent list of requests. I went back today to collect my medicine and guess what? It wasn?t there!I am not happy!

Had minor op to remove a cyst and was brilliant service. Everything explained and covered in the consultation and the op itself was great, made to feel at ease and great customer care.

I?ve always been happy with this surgery. Drs are nice and they have a great system in place with the chemist next door! However since Covid I?ve seen a massive change in the surgery and it doesn?t feel like it?s for the best. Perhaps your policies need reviewing again. They refused to see my 11 month old baby unless he had a PCR test before hand. He had been ill for nearly three weeks.I waited three weeks until reporting it because I didn?t want to waste anyone?s time. ( Don?t tell me that the doctors aren?t our socializing and have their own children and families that are out working and at school)If they are that concerned about Covid and vulnerable patients then perhaps they should be wearing the correct protection like at the hospitals instead of making life harder for patients. ( I consider a small baby a vulnerable patient)I then received a text confirming my appointment which was at the completely wrong surgery.I then had to put the baby back in the car and when I finally got to Pitstone the appointment was delayed.I?ve then gone to collect his Antibiotics and the pharmacist lucky checked the prescription because the dosage was too much for the baby.I sat waiting for forty minutes with a crying sick baby in the car.It has been resolved and everyone was apologetic but something that should be simple has been made very hard. I really hope that the surgery relook at their policies and listen to their patients. I?ve always spoken highly of the surgery but I?m extremely disappointed and frustrated with recent events and changes.

Recently introduced a new policy of having to turn up in person to order a prescription as opposed to simply calling up.I was told this was because many people call up and order but then dont collect leading to waste. So why then choose to impose a blanket rule and make everyone adversely affected? Why dont you simply hold those who are doing this to account?Political correctness gone mad as usual. Its now more time consuming for me to go there in person so I order 2 inhalers and they only let me have 1.Senior management clueless nothing but problems every time I go there from them being closed for training days without clearly informing us to a faulty card payment system that takes ages to process payment.Whole place is a joke and has been for years!!

Both the brilliant pharmacist, Mittal, and Sian Mather on reception duty today, went well out of their way to sort a problem out for me.It's a pity that some people are never pleased, and love a moan!! But we do not realise how lucky we as villagers (I call myself one of those now having defected to Eaton Bray from London 25years ago!) have this amazing pharmacy and surgery, so close by!!Thank you once again to you both. X

Myself & my wife registered with the practice & were under Dr Bell. We have now left the area, but would like to say BIG thank you to all the staff & Dr Bell for great care, prompt medical diagnosis when we had appointments & not skimping on medication eg using substitute cheaper medication. Miss you all & wish you were here in North West. David Waldron
