I ordered the French onion soup, which I sent back as it had no flavor and did not taste good. (How can a French restaurant fail on this one?) The fillet steak was cooked perfectly and was juicy and tender. Unfortunately whilst the duck looked good it was dry and tough. There was some sort of beetroot paste that just did not work with anything or even on its own. From this experience it seems the food is a real hit or miss.

Food was over cooked and dry and tasteless I had fish and my friends had meat but everything was too overdone and dry and tasteless and not worth the money we paid I didn't enjoy the meal at all

For me personally, the food wasn't as nice as I was lead to believe. But I am fussy and prefer certain meals. The service was fantastic and run by lovely people, so I would still recommend this well run restaurant.

I had reserved a table for my girlfriend's birthday. When we arrived at the restaurant, a very nice surprise was waiting for us. Our table was decorated very nicely for the birthday. We had a delicious dinner in a very nice atmosphere. The music, food and wine were great. After dinner, another surprise was waiting for us. We all celebrated my girlfriend's birthday together with a birthday candle on a beautiful cheesecake. I would like to thanks the restaurant staff and the owner. I definitely recommend it.

1st time visit after a recommendation from a friend.
We enjoyed a fantastic 3 course meal, calm environment, personable and attentive staff.
Timings were to perfection and the whole service ran seamlessly.
Well done team, we shall be back!
Parking: Parking in the church street lot, literally just around the corner from the restaurant.

This was our second vist and once again they hit the target right on the bullseye.
There really is nothing compare this restaurant to in the area.
This time we opted for the three course set menu accompanied with a crisp Bordeaux white wine and it was fantastic. From the garlic flat mushrooms and chicken salad to the beef bourguignon followed up with Eton mess and creme brulee and a Drambuie coffee to finish the meal was faultless.
We look forward to our next visit. Thankyou for a memorable night

We had a wonderful evening celebrating a 60th Wedding Anniversary. The food was superb, plentiful and very reasonable. The service was excellent, with lovely, friendly staff who had decorated the table with balloons & banners and printed 60th Wedding Anniversary menu cards, which was a thoughtful touch. We would highly recommend this great restaurant.

Food here is always amazing - perfectly cooked, interesting flavours and beautifully presented. And Lina and the staff are all absolutely lovely. Great French food with warm Portuguese hospitality! It's the ideal place for anything from a special family meal to a midweek treat for two. Can't recommend it enough!!
Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian and Gluten-free options available and clearly labelled. The food is all freshly-prepared, so you can ask about individual ingredients if you need to avoid anything.

Excellent food and friendly service. We visited on a Saturday lunchtime and although we booked, the was plenty of space for drop-ins.Parking: Two car parks very close by. Post at machine/by app. Evenings normally free.
