Stopped for a night here due to training. Food was nice, the staff was very friendly, and the room was tidy with a nice confy bed
Rooms: Good size room hot shower and comfy bed

Everything was great except for the shower flooding and us having to plunger it ourselves to clear the blockage. That was a bit grim. But other than that the staff were lovely, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and it was nice and quiet.

We came here after our holiday and flew into Luton airport. It was an easy 10 minute drive to the hotel. The gentleman on reception was friendly and talkative despite it being 2am! We were lucky and got the refurbished wing of the hotel which was fab; great modern feel, new furniture and a fan was waiting for us in the room which was hugely appreciated. Highly recommend for an airport hotel.
Noteworthy details: The fan was already on and circulating air so the room was a decent temperature despite the hot weather.

Room was nice and clean, and I liked the pedestal fan which I had on the lowest setting all night - no clicks, clonks or other noise came from it.
Tea and coffee was a welcome touch.
Shower water power was barely adequate but ultimately usable.
TV was modern and quite large although for some reason I had no sound on channel 101 (BBC1 HD) - all the others were fine!
Ideal location if you're heading south on the M1 / M25 or in/from that general direction and need an overnight stay.
Food and drinks: Next door is a gastropub which I didn't use but would have if circumstances required it.

Not bad, basic hotel. The cooked breakfast is a bit tasteless and I wish they'd play a different radio station in the restaurant during breakfast. I didn't appreciate being told to wait to check in by the night porter when I turned up at midnight after a four hour drive .. but I think my expression persuaded him to see to my needs promptly.

Our stay at Premier Inn Dunstable South was a letdown. The morning after our arrival, we discovered there was no hot water in the double room.
We reported the issue to the reception staff, who informed us that some rooms in the hotel have this problem and maintenance would take a while to arrive. After insisting that we needed a shower after our journey, the staff member reluctantly offered us a last-minute room change.
This meant we had to pack up all our belongings and move to a different room, which was quite far from the original one. This process caused an inconsiderable amount of stress and left us pressed for time to check out due to the hassle of moving around.
Overall, this experience was disappointing and frustrating, and we will not be returning to Premier Inn Dunstable South.

I picked this Hotel due to the fact it was close to Whipsnade Zoo . First and foremost this Premier Inn Dunstable South Hotel and joining restaurant the Horse & Jockey are the worst we've been to in all our travels to premier inn establishments, our room number 101 the electric socket in our room was hanging off the wall which is health & safety issue, and the room thermostat was set at 24 degrees and we could not alter the settings.
The whole establishment and joining restaurant in need of refurbishment and decoration it gives the impression of dirtiness which it most certainly is, there's dust on the shelves in the restaurant, chipped and badly badly scratched tables and the seats are ripped and filthy. My wife complained about the wine glass she had her red wine served in it had lipstick marks and the glasses were filthy and all the Waiter did was poured it into a nother glass I would call that cross contamination.
The cooked breakfast was uneditable not premier inn standard. And what happened to the smart uniforms they usually wear, this establishment was casual sruffy dress, the restaurant supervisor greeted the guests hi mate have you reserved a table barring in mind the restaurant was vertically empty, what happened to good evening Sir or Madam.

good location, friendly service, clean rooms, delicious food. in general, very suitable price-quality
Food & drinks: limited food choices but a pretty good deal when you get dinner and breakfast in one package. we ordered a takeaway burger. it was tasty, although half the size of the photo in the menu)

Stayed here one night. Firstly, an annoyance. Arrived at 12.40 and told it would be £10 to check in early. Paid it and the room was ready. So room was available and the £10 fee is just raking in more money.
Hotel staff extremely pleasant Hotel is tired. The stairwell carpet was super grubby and gives a bad first impression. Room was a good size and was clean but feels dated and is probably the most dated Premier Inn room I?ve stayed in. Lots of knocks and scratches, mould in the bathroom. There is no A/C but they provide a fan. It?s on a busy road but it was very quiet in the room overnight. Bed was big and comfy.
The pub/restaurant next door also feels a little dated as well in fact the hotel and restaurant have a 1990s feel about them.
For the price it was ok but I wouldn?t want to stay more than one night here as it?s a bit depressing.

My stay was exactly as you'd expect from any premier inn, room was fine, good location for Whipsnade Zoo and got a pub next door for cheap food. Staff were helpful and friendly, rooms were good. Only side note is I don't think it had A/C, just a fan in the room.
Food & drinks: As a lot of people have mentioned it on here rather than the pubs reviews, the Table Table pub next door service was on point, perfect, I've had worse service from much more expensive pubs so I'm not sure what the problem was but I'd say they've sorted it
