This is a very pleasant little local cafe attached to a very well stocked haberdashery and craft shop. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and a good range of snacks, light meals and, most importantly, cakes are available. Though not itself located in the most scenic part of Oakley, this cafe makes a useful final stop for a local walk.

Its always a pleasure to stop here, even if I'm not buying anything in the (fantastic!) shop.The staff are always cheerful and friendly, the food is amazing and you henuinely feel like you're valued as a customer.

Found via Google as at a children football match, walked over and ordered our coffee, the lovely rude lady behind the sewing counter as we are waiting tells us we have to wear a mask?. 1 - it?s no longer law so we didn?t think we needed too 2 - With a Autistic child we are exempt This is not a good enough reason for them and we were told to stand outside. I didn?t realise your now able to treat someone differently because COVID. The 2 young lady?s on the coffee shop were polite and lovely and the coffee and hot chocolate tastes good too. Just be warned of the Angry lady selling fabric and other stuff.

So good to find a place that makes proper cakes with quality fresh ingredients.The lemon drizzle cake I ordered for my daughters birthday was as light as a feather and tasted devine.
