Disappointed that a beautiful table and chairs plus matching corner unit was not accepted by preen . The collection crew said the legs on the table were not great sellers and they would only get £4 for the glass corner unit. Would post a photo but not given the option . Shame when there are so many needy families.

I have been donating and buying from preen for years now. Found so many wonderful treasures and furnished pretty much every room in my house. Furnished my first home, then when we moved to our second home they delivered the new furniture we bought from their shop and took away any of our old furniture that was still good to be sold! Also had some beautiful antique furniture from here at a steal. Kids love coming with me too, as they can each choose a free book. Staff always friendly and helpful. Couldn't recommend enough. Only slight downside is parking when it's busy, but we just park round the corner and walk in, not a big issue to me.

We have just offered a £400.00 solid wardrobe to this so called charity, is it any wonder this organisation is failing the community. This item has been used in my daughter?s bedroom all of her life, she is now 15. Two of Preens collection drivers entered our house to view the wardrobe of which it was agreed how good the condition is but I was asked if it was a smoking household, I replied yes but only downstairs in the kitchen I was then told that due to Preen policy this wardrobe could not be used/taken, smoking has NEVER taken place upstairs. This policy is absolutely ludicrous and for a charity unacceptable, we have given to Preen on many occasions and have not once been asked if these items have come from a smoking household, incidentally the collection drivers stated that they couldn?t smell smoke but nevertheless they had to ask, WHY DONT YOU ASK THIS QUESTION AT THE POINT OF US CONTACTING YOU WITH REGARDS THIS DONATION?
Preens listing on the Central Bedfordshire Charities and Second Hand Goods Services does not mention anything with regards smoking as shown in the image.
We will never offer anything to Preen again and it is no wonder that this business is struggling to stay afloat
Well that is a nasty response from the owner!

Great charity to have in Biggleswade. Helps people with furniture and food.
And for those of us lucky enough not to need their help, a good place to browse and shop for some bargains.

Very good place for second hand products always a good selection of different bits and bobs .It's such a shame they are having to close down because they don't get no support from the local council!
