Service extremely poor and very slow. Even though I submit my repeat prescription in plenty of time it's never ready until I have almost run out of my medication

Shockingly bad service does not even deserve one star!!!
While on holiday I went to Boots in Stoke-on-Trent with a prescription ? it was filled immediately and I was out in under 5 minutes.
Today, I rushed into the Biggleswade pharmacy with an urgent prescription for my husband, who was in extreme pain. I explained the situation clearly, but was dismissed and told it would be a 30-minute wait. I pleaded again, explaining that without urgent relief I would have to take him to A&E ? but once more I was coldly told ?half an hour.?
Pharmacies are meant to support patients, ease pressure on A&E, and provide urgent care when needed. Instead, this pharmacy made the situation worse, showing no compassion or urgency whatsoever.
We will never use them again as our regular pharmacy. I sincerely hope they never experience their own level of service when they themselves are extreme pain!

Very slow service not the staff fault just not enough of them about time Boots employed more staff and the number of times I have seen people have to que up to pay for goods as everyone else is waiting for prescriptions I'm surprised they sell anything I know I wouldn't go.in there.

This is by far one of the worst boots I?ve ever used. Despite the fact you don?t actually want a prescription, you still have to stand in a queue for at least 15 minutes just to pay for what you want to buy. 3 staff, only 1 doing any serving. Surely when you see a queue of 10 people, you?d realise your system doesn?t work.

What a shambles... Clearly don't care about customers at all - lunchbreak for the WHOLE PHARMACY between 1pm and 2pm, Why everyoneat the same time?! Also long queues with staff seriously lacking discretion, tact, professionalism and any interpersonal skills. Always just 1 person working the service/sales till and they are NOT trained properly on how to speak to customers and represent the company. Go to the retail park, it's bigger and although not much friendlier there's a better chance they know what they're doing

Poor service, only 1 person dispensing medicine that you have to wait 30m for return to wait another 10 min to pay for it. Won?t be using this chemist again

Husband was served by a lady called Gemma this morning, he found her customer service rude and unhelpful when he was trying to get eye drops for our 4 year old daughter.
He said there was a big Que and she just stood there putting make up away rather than attending to staff.
He went to Biggleswade pharmacy in town, much more helpful and professional.

This is a really friendly Boots store with very helpful staff.
It can get busy at times but that goes to show how good the staff are with their service.

Frustrating to see they close 1-2pm and of course you don't realise until you're there and see the sign! Even their own website doesn't reflect this. A shame as their lunch break is the same as mine - won't be able to collect my parcel anytime soon!
