Do not do click and collect. I waited ages before they bought my shopping out, telling me they were busy.....even though I was the only one there and had been waiting for 15 minutes. Out of the 77 items I ordered nearly half were unsuitable substitutes and missing items. I was told by the guy that any substitutes I didn't want just leave in the container and they will refund. I waited a while but nobody came out to collect them so I drove away. They then charged me the full amount including the items I had returned. I I have had to request a refund and individually pick the items that were missing/unsuitable myself. If my request is 'accepted' then I have to wait 5days before I get a refund!? What a joke and an absolute waist of time. I will never use click and collect again from here.

Click and collect is an absolute joke. You pay for the convenience of someone else picking out your shopping but then to waste 30 minutes sat waiting for them to bring it out. The lack of signal in the town meant that I couldn't check in, the number to call if you don't have internet was left unanswered and then I spent 10 minutes on the phone to a central Asda call centre who couldn't even understand the name of the town. It has been bad previously but 30 minutes and 4 cars waiting is not acceptable.

So Asda in Biggleswade today , I go in to get my monthly shop , to find yet again this afternoon that so much stock is missing from the shelves , the Asda staff have trolleys in the isles trying to re stock in the middle of the day, blocking a lot of access to freezers etc , so you can?t get into the freezers you need too , there are other customers with their trolleys , who pretend not to notice you when your trying to get into the same freezer that they are in , people not willing to move out of the way ,none the scanners don?t work again , so I decided to use scan and go on the app on my phone you to scan the items , so then at the end get told , I have to do a check with a staff member , which happens every time I use scan and go on my phone ,, I told the staff member I had checked everything, then to be told I had not scanned one bar of skinny chocolate , which I 100 percent knew I did as I had two of them , I was then made to feel like a common criminal as they had to take everything out my trolley and re scan everything with everyone looking at me , I mean I usually love food shopping , but this Asda needs to sort itself out , i will be going to Asda in Stevenage more often now , they are always well stocked properly and you can always find nearly 99% of what your looking for and the scanners always work properly , this store is letting its own staff and its customers down, the management of the store need to be looked at , even I can tell if you need more stock just by looking at
the shelves but many weeks the items are still just not there , pleas someone get a grip on this store for the sake of the customers please

Please check the dates because asda don't I know a out of date product will get through some times it's human error but there is a difference to out and out neglect.pies out of date by days.cheese etc I repeat check the dates as obviously the useless staff dont

In the past few visits we have noticed that some products are out of date. And not by a day or so, the juice purchased on 22/9/24 had a use by date of 11/9/24.
We have even mentioned to staff when we noticed some mince was out of date by 4 days.
Check the dates people, Asda don't

Definitely went downhill in the last couple of years. Nice enough staff is the best thing about this store. Often empty shelves. They got rid of EV charging stations last year. Free parking for 90 minutes only. Mostly self check outs. Which save you no time at all.
